ProTune is unprocessed video, similar to shooting in RAW with photography. Instead of the camera's processor making video corrections it leaves it un-modified so you can do post processing on an editing computer. When not in Protune the GoPro will process the video for you, making it look better. But it would looke even better with Protune and being touched up in AfterEffects or something like that.

How do you upload your videos without losing the quality and being able to see them in HD? where can I find good information about this? I have the GoPro White and want to start uploading videos. The one I uploaded has bad quality. The original video file in the other hand is great quality.

I don't see why you would want to pay 100 - 200$ extra for the same thing. The white seems to do the trick 100%. Looks great too, but thats my opinion thank you this is going to be a great reference on buying a gopro

Jose Mujica One year ago I bought a white, thinking I don't need the extra features. Turns out the colour and light quality is shit on the white, also it had a nasty bug with bleeding light lines when filming in upside-down mode. After half year they fixed the bug but the same software update has broken its charging, now it can never connect by USB cable to transfer files as it always reports that it charges. And it was still expensive and they still don't have image stabilization. Fucking GoPro, they don't deserve the money. So perhaps the black edition is more carefully built.

960p is the best alternative (thats what I usually use) but if you dont like the 4:3 ratio use 720p 60 fps. I think its okey and doesn't have that much diffrance with 1080p. I hope this helps...

Hmm what do you mean by full screan? The settings are 16:9 and 4:3 If your PC monitor, , tablet or phone is not one of these it is not going to be full screen. But its very normal to have black lines at bottom and top in 16:9. All films have it.

The best is white because , it is cheap, with a little editing we achieved the level of silver The color quality is great and 1080p,The perfect sound. the resolution of the camera sensor is not great. the screen should be provided in the pack... for an amateur, I think this is the best value for money.

If you buy a camcorder for ~$200, that would be better, as GlobalDesign mentioned. But you can also buy a nice point and shoot camera and still have 1080p recording for the same price. GoPro, even the Black, has horrible resolution because I believe the sensor size is very small compared to most cameras.
