Jeb, thank you so much for this. It reinforces that I need to do many practice runs before I do anything over water. Beautiful shot and relatively easy!

Hi Jeb, what setting are you in on the camera? Wide? Linear? Narrow etc?? This was super helpful and if you could be so kind to share this info I might be as good as you someday with the drone. Nice work bud :)

Awesome stuff!!!! I need to turn on the audio during flight. I’d also like to turn off the automatic safety features. I was manually landing mine since the battery said about 5 minutes left. And then it randomly decides to auto land and it just took off up into the sky. I missed the porch and tree. But I nearly crashed it. I eventually figured out I could cancel the auto landing and do it myself.

Awesome tutorial! One of the best! Do more please! :) Was your sound recorded through an iPhone and not Karma Grip? It sounds way better than other videos. Am waiting for Karma Drone to come to Canada. So excited to get one! Cheers from Montréal, Canada.

I've had mine for only a month. Great video, but I'm wondering just how far that flag was from your position? Catching and launching by hand seems a bit tricky, those rotors aren't playing around. Love your confidence, but you scare me! LOL Great shots, thanks for posting.

Buen video Jeb. Dos cosas: la primera, tu video realmente tiene sonido o es sobrepuesto? podrías hacer un video para despegue y aterrizaje del Karma en la mano. gracias, saludos.

How did you turn it off when you landed it in your hand? Last time I did this the props kept going and wanted to continue to fly up so the props increased its speed like crazy.

Hey how do you make sure when you catch your drone that it turns off once in your grip ? Since the machine can detect pressure downwards?

does it have an auto follow mode? how does that work?
@cedricjamesjr15 жыл бұрын
yes and I believe it is called "kite mode" if I remember right been flying mine for a few times this past month the thing is really nice. Just wish I could zoom in and I wish the battery lasted longer than it does. 15min 20min

Ever try landing a drone on a boat in rough seas :) Catching it is the only option and my preferred way of doing it everywhere :) You aren't always in a place with a good landing area. Plus I launch them from open windows and moving cars :) So again catching is the only real option there too :) One of the good things about the karma drone is it's made for catching. A lot of the other drones are not so good for catching. The mavic scares me a bit to catch. Blades are super close to fingers. But if they hit the fingers it just stings, no real damage ;)
@Evolutionist1997 жыл бұрын
If you use the sensors built into the Mavic and you put your hand under it it will think its too low to the ground the try to fly up and away from you. It's also reckless as fuck to launch a drone from a moving car let a lone catch one. You are going to be one of those guys that is going to ruin the hobby for everyone...
@jebcorliss7 жыл бұрын
Well here is a place you and I do not agree and that is OK :) We don't have to :) I have zero trouble launching and catching from boats in high seas and when needed have no trouble launching and catching from vehicles either :) With the karma that is. I wouldn't want to launch and catch the inspire by my self in either of those conditions. Even the mavic I wouldn't mind launching it but catching it by your self in high seas is a bit tricky. Depending on the drone you use some are an issue some are not. The karma is built for it. The DJI's not so much. They are trickier to catch by hand if you are alone and on a moving surface like a boat. It's about having the right tool for the shot. Some shots are in areas that are moving and you just don't have nice places to land...
