Some of the shots show the Snake River Prototype flat lens. That was a mod for the Hero 2 because the Dive housing wasn't out when we filmed.

@1978jared i use twixtor its software that works with adobe premiere pro and final cut not sure about cine pro. check the demo out.

Out of curiosity, do a lot of surfers wear a helmet or was it more for the opportunity to head mount a GoPro? I am headed to Kauai in a few weeks and will be surfing (beginner style..) so I am trying to figure out where I can use a GoPro w/o using a surfboard mount (don't think the rental company would like that)..

I understand that for your close up (would say Macro footage actually) of the crab at the beginning of the video, you modified your case a bit by unscrewing the lens. Do you mean that you made the lens 'pop out' a bit from the actual case by loosening the lens? Or if you actually changed the lens completely? If you did change the lens completely is it the Snakeriver lens that you were using for the underwater footage? Thanks, and the stuff you get is amazing! Keep up the great vids :D

Love The Vid! But I see you are using an aftermarket "Modified" Underwater housing to eliminate the focus issue underwater. But i see there is some vignetting around the edges. Since you're a rep and may have some inside info, Is GoPro working on an official Release of a flat-lensed Housing for the HD Hero 2? Sorry dude. 100% GoPro. You can break the lens ring on the gopro, unscrew the lens, and adjust it to where it's equal to the focal length of a macro. Try Googling "GoPro Macro."
