They put the videos in Protune. It ups the quality of the GoPro significantly but you would need to post color correct

It's all about color correction. Check out my channel, I've started to get better at color correcting and it makes the videos look much better.

I'm thinking it's something to do with the video editor, I know my raw footage looks amazing, but then after editing and uploading it definitely doesn't look as good

Because he won the overall championship, the 4th place in this last race was enough i guess! :)

***** He had 20 points over Dungey going into the final race (only 50 possible - 25 per moto). He took an easy 3rd in moto 1 which meant he could have finished moto 2 in 14th place I believe and he still would have won the championship. He smartly and cautiously raced to a 4th place finish to ensure that nothing catastrophic would happen to ruin his championship (crash, DNF, etc).

plus its all about timing, if you shoot in broad day light your footage will look dull, but if its like sunset, then you will have enhanced and rich footage

Miller Motorsports Park supposedly has very poor fan seating/viewing areas. This is probably the #1 complaint about this stop of the Nationals. It has amazing amenities for the fans and race crews, but hopefully they will add some grandstands next year to improve the experience for race fans.
