That’s Kevin Richardson, as folks note. The Lion Whisperer. He is bonded with them in a way no others can be. In fact, he’s managed to bond with hyenas also. As well as other cats. He had a very unique talent and ability to be incredibly integrated with the animals at his sanctuary. No one else can be with them the way he is. And they do still hunt on their enrichment walks. Meg and Amy did a few kills (porcupine) while they were all out walking. They treat him as one of them. There is one photo of him walking with one of the males. I think Bobcat. And Kevin looks like a 6YO toddler walking next to him. Gabby, Bobcat’s crazy and mischievous sister, is always running and jumping on Kevin. Even he says she will give him whiplash and other injuries simply from her force. He’s so bonded with them that when his one lion, Thor, was struck by lightning one night and killed, Kev said he woke up in the middle of the night and knew something bad had happened. It’s always amazing to see his videos. They are great. They now have cheetah cubs they took in, which they plan to release. So, he’s not bonding with them. But they are the cutest little things.
@Prodigyscenez2 жыл бұрын
@@yeti4954 watch his content, not only does he understand their behavioural traits, he recognises their temperament and knows when to and not to interact with them. Chances are, the great white wouldn't have hurt him as long as he kept his distance. Obviously in that situation he was way too close and it was best to get out of the water. However sharks tend to be very docile creatures unless they're provoked. From my expirience, if the shark wanted to hurt him, it would've and he wouldn't be alive to tell the tale. But honestly what the media portrays is completely wrong, I've swam with (tiger) sharks before and they are super chill. As long as you don't try to intimidate them or something stupid. On the other hand, like any other apex preditor it would attack you if you were being a total dong. But as long as you don't touch or go too close, most of the time you'll be fine with that being said though, the risk was still there and obviously it was a good idea to get out of the water. What he shouldn't have done, however, was frantically squirm around to get out of the water. By doing so he was making himself look like prey which is never a good idea. Typically sharks only eat/attack seals and other prey animals. A shark would have to be especially ravenous and desperate to eat a human, considering that they don't usually attack them for food unless theyve mistaken them for a seal/prey ( usually happens to surfers ). in which case theyll usually take a test bite, realize that you arent food, and move on. Most shark deaths are from bleeding out from the shark mistaking a human for prey Keep in mind though that great whites tend to be less timid than like a tiger shark for example. All sharks are different and some great whites are very docile while others can be especially agressive if you get too close Edit: sorry for any bad grammar and formatting, I'm still practicing my English grammar and stuff

Kev had made friends with way more than Gabby and Bobcat (lion). He’s bonded with countless lions, leopards, cheetah. Even hyenas. They treat him as one of their own. He is pack leader and pride leader.

I spent a whole summer surfing with dolphins at Border Field State Park in San Diego back in the 80's. They became so used to us, that we could paddle by a mom feeding her babies. On almost every wave we surfed, there would be a group of young dolphins surfing it with us. It was very cool. The group of dolphins was probably 100 in total. First time we saw them, they sent their leader to look us over. He came up to us and gave us a close up look over, and then a few minutes later they all came down.
