GOPRO8 RETURN FROM EARLS COLNE - PILOT VLOG no 398

A big thank you to Nick Buckley whose channel ‘Let’s Go Flying’ is a very good watch if you haven’t already seen it. He was very kind and has let me use one of his older GoPro 8s. Jon, The Flying Reporter, now has close ties with Earls Colne and on the end screen I have included a link to my amusing video of his first flight there, when I picked him up from the airfield to fly him into Nayland

Great to watch another Jodel Flyer production. It looked like a lovely day. The scenes above the cloud were very serene! Camera looked great. Have a play with the “super view” option as well as it gives you a slightly wider angle. I alternate between that and normal usually. Fly safe sir and keep them coming

I flew from Earls Cone quite a lot but on my first check flight there the instructor said "Ok where is the airfield" . Erk? After learning at East Midlands the change to a field surrounded with acres of green was a shock. i did get better!. Regards, Jim the Brit in NI UK

Looked like a nice flight, despite having the low winter sun in your eyes a few times. That GoPro8 gave a good clear picture. The set-up seems fine to me.

I need to get flying as I am suffering the DT's as the weather has been so rubbish and although our field is not water logged most I want to visit are 😞
