FYI: The group of Gods at the end is called: The Four Heavenly Kings. In the myth, our world has 4 main paths, they are the protector of each path which can be divided into: 1. Look you know a game is going to be good when the developers come right out the gate with gameplay footage. The past 4 years Game Science has created massive hype just off gameplay footage. It wasn’t until just a few months ago they released a fancy cinematic trailer and that was just them showing off. When the developers are so confident in their game that they release gameplay footage right away you know it’s going to be special. Bro I’ve been hyped for this game since the very first time I saw it. Remember seeing that trailer and seeing how the snow reacted to the fight? Was hooked immediately. Meanwhile, Ubisoft created a fancy cinematic trailer for Outlaws that turned out to be absolutely nothing like the garbage we are about to get. Still blows my mind that Ubisoft somehow thinks that game is worth $130…

It's supposed to be more like a God of War rather than a Souls-like game. I wouldn't worry too much about not being able to beat bosses. However, they do have an added element in the boss fights that if you beat the boss within a certain time-limit, it will activate the bosses second phase, which then might be more of a difficult challenge. I love this aspect because Game Science knew that with so many bosses, it would just feel like a boss run and there wouldn't really be much of a challenge.

For western fans out there that are hyped for this game, but also hesitating because you have never played any souls like game. Worry not, the original story from roughly 500 years ago also revealed a lot of counters to the Guai and monsters, which works like how ground type counters electric in Pokémon. And the transformation system grants a separate health bar, so even if you are not good at these type of games, Black myth would still be ok for new players.
