Fun facts for the people who didnt know: 1. the part where stolas sung to octavia, the solar system that blew up wasnt an illusion. He legit opened a portal to a random solar system and blew it up to comfort his daughter. If that isnt best dad energy i dont know what is. 2. Stolas's wife wasnt mad because he cheated on him. she was mad because he slept with an imp, one of hells lowest lifeforms (status wise). 3. stolas is propbably stronger than alastor. viv said in a stream that if stolas and alastor was in a fight she thought that stolas would win. She didnt confirm it tho.

1. after about the 10th time watching the song, I realized he actually triggered the sun's collapse. The flash that drew Octavia's gaze to it before they rode the debris into the blast. Yeah, "I will destroy a star to comfort my daughter" is amazing dad vibes

In the song it seems like he already knows some shit is going to go down and he likely will not "survive", but is trying to let her know that even if that happens, his spirit or something will be around in some fashion ... or when he says "you will find me in the sky", perhaps he knows he may actually ascend... either way, it will be rough on poor Octavia.

The episode seems to drop hints that stolas never actually truly loved his wife and the only reason he is with her is because its an arranged marriage and that would make sense considering he is royalty. His wife seems to care a ton about their image to the public which also fits since she isn't mad that he cheated on her because it hurt he feelings its more like she's mad because she is scared what other people would think if they found out about it. He probably didn't want to tell Octavia because it could make her think she was a mistake.

Really need more info on the mom though. From what I can tell she's not really great, steals the blanket, does not want to get up to go comfort her own child. Most of Octavia's drawings only show Stolas, not the mom. And the mom only seems angry at Stolas for fucking with Blitzo due to the impact it might have on their reputation. From what's currently presented, she seems like a very cold demon that only cares for the reputation and money, but not her own husband and child. Stolas meanwhile seems like a great father, just has a very strong kink/fetish. (though to be fair, we still don't know what his "job" is as one of the nobles in hell, perhaps that's a big fucked up mess that really tips the moral scales)

I can't deny that I liked the old voice of Millie, but I also can't deny the current voice is pretty damn great, she's very expressive. Same for most of the other voice's in this series too, Octavia's British is something I never even knew I needed to hear. Everyone is speaking with various accents rather then just the plain old, plain old. That makes it SO much better.

Mae West was also featured in tons of old cartoons as well. She was the buxom looking woman, usually a blonde asking gents to "Come up and see her sometime." I'm actually rather impressed that people still use W.C. Fields impressions for cartoon characters. It was perfect for that carnival barker.

In the beginning, the song Stolas sings is so celestial because he is a demon of astronomy, which is really cool to see. The jester, Fizzarolli, is on the cereal box that Octavia is eating, and it, along with the themepark and even the freaking money, all have Mammon printed on them, who is a demon of greed, so appropriate. The signs in the background are hilarious, so keep an eye out for those. Like the Fizzarolli sex bot sign. Gives and receives, BDSM feature, ribbed for your pleasure, real tentacle action, 10 speed vibration, and machine washable. He ain't just for kids, that's for sure. Not sure if it was noticed, but Fizzarolli also rips off Charlie's lines from her song during his dance and song piece. The head that acts as the entrance to the funhouse is based off of Lucifer's face, so that's a cool reference and blatant copyright infringement by Loo Loo Land. Really surprising even Lucifer can't win a lawsuit against the owner (who seems to be Mammon). Somewhat hard to notice at first, but Fizzarolli also gets eaten by a dragon being ridden by Moxxie as Stolas and Octavia are leaving the park. And right at the end, Millie is getting dragged off by a fly dog creature that seems to be Hell's version of rats. It's the same animal that Valentino got as a pet (which he named Queef, and almost immediately killed, apparently) in the Official Hazbin and Helluva instagrams. Also, Stella, Stolas' wife, seems to be more upset that he slept with an imp instead of the cheating itself. Heard people say they may have a political marriage and it didn't really involve love.
