The Kremling glimpsed outside the castle window is Kerozene, the boss of K. Rool's Keep in the GBA version of DKC2. He's a gigantic Kremling who looks like he's made of fire/lava and he fights with two Kleevers, pounding his fists, and breathing fire.

6:32 as far as I remember this exact stage’s layout of thorns is in a sort of “internet checkpoint” with the non-rock theme. The original theme also appears int the Roblox game craftwars
