That horse is incredibly strong. That is really hard work for the horse!!! Can't ask the horse to do that for too long at a time! It's like a combination of the levade position and US cutting horse that crouch low to work cattle. Amazing power in the horse to hold that position even for a second.

no they arn't if it was mean to help they would use a diffrent one they use those harsh bits so that the stallions will listen and obey i have been riding horses for more than five yrs i don't use a bit on one of my horses because she was not trained right so i use a "little s hackamore"

***** i have a horse in india, one man bought me a bit for it. It had jags in it and it swisted around O.O i said no thanks, i will ONLY use western smooth bits IF THAT. if it was up to me i would have trained him bitless from the begining. they use whatever method possible

you know in india for every mistreated, over worked, underfed animal, there is a mistreated, over worked, underfed human. Their child labour and trafficking rates are through the roof. Along with their systematic abuse of women. It's a harsh way of life and of course animals aren't exempt from that. Anyways I hope when i go there by teaching to love humans i can teach loving animals. It goes hand in hand when you simply dont want to course pain to other beings.
