Ok, Gordon! Taking control of Gotham. Making the hard choices for the better of the city. What's harder to live with, revenge or resentment? Love the black & white, sets the tone perfectly and give this it's own character. Favorite moment is when the tide changes and Joker senses he's not the craziest one in the wagon. Great job, all the details and hard work can be seen on screen!

I've never managed to see a batman film that pulls the whole "No killing" thing into an actual perspective without ruining Bruce's characterization. Having Jim play executioner is honestly amazing because it strikes to the core of what makes batman so intresting. Jim isn't a nihilist, he doesn't have the meditations to do it again as far as I see it, and yet he's not absolved. He's committed a nessecary evil, and Bruce will never look at him the same because the "by the book" repor the two have is shattered.

My opinion on this particular scene...There is nothing more terrifying than a man who's calm in the face of such insanity. After losing so much, I don't think joker understood just how dangerous an animal he turned James Gordon into...and he's in a straight jacket, in a metal box, alone with him...then it finally clicked. Gordon had finally snapped, and Joker, in his last few seconds of life, was afraid. James plunged his hands into the filth, the pool of blood, so Bruce wouldn't have to. This was some epic storytelling. Well done by all.

Oh. My. God. That was…better than anything I anticipated. I appreciate the bold choices, as well as the exposition, through the dialogue from the Joker in the truck, and Batman nonchalantly removing his mask in front of Gordon. I appreciate the combination of black and white with the mixed designs, where you made the Joker’s look a good mix (his long straight hair and straight jacket reminded me of Jared Leto at the end of the Snyder Cut) not to mention his eyes. I also liked how you gave Batman the smoky eye make-up, presumably inspired by “The Batman”. I can’t do enough justice to what you did, but this…this is the kind of bold and well-done fan work I appreciate.

Im pretty floored by this. You managed to do something rare, which is make a fresh, and interesting fan film involving the Joker. Most Joker-centric fan films involve Joker extensively monologuing at a victim strapped to a chair. It was nice to see something a little more based in reality, rather than high-minded pseudo philosophy about duality, or his relationship with Batman. I love the Noir aesthetic- kind of Sin City. I'd love to see more with this cast and director.

And as if Joker and Gordon's performances weren't good enough for me to hold this together the black and white really added something. Holy shit, this stunned me. My favorite shot is 3:33, how many expressions Joker went through in such a short amount of time. My gosh, this was like Mark Hamill's Joker in live action, unironically. The dialogue too! (I would've prefered he had short hair and more makeup, but regardless, this performance is genuinely gonna be stuck in my head for a while now. "Where are we *going* Gordon...") Gordon was impeccable as well. He won me over as soon as the zoom in at 1:25. I love his laugh surprising Joker, and dude...him showing Joker the box of bullets after pouring out far too much personal information and throwing his words back at him... Wow. I saw what was coming just a moment before I was supposed to lol. And what surprisingly sobering last words for Joker too. What a chilling last *word* from Gordon! I'll even shoutout Batman! He had great body movement in the suit, the suit itself looked GREAT (like the Arkham Knight suit specifically), and I like the hair push after taking off the cowl. Made him feel like a younger Bruce to me, a bit like Robert Pattinson's, which is a huge compliment in my book. Everyone who helped work on this did fucking great. So nice to see Batman fans so passionate like this. Amazing, impeccable, and fantastic! 👏👏

Although I can see most members of the Bat-Family being deep down glad that the Joker has died, but Bruce’s dynamic with Jim will never be the same. Someone Bruce respected enough to do the right thing technically did do the right thing for the betterment of everyone in Gotham… But not through the name of the law that the two mutually agreed on when they started working together… Now, Bruce can no longer look at Gordon the same way because that mutual agreement is no longer valid because of the “necessary evil” that Jim committed.
@JohnDanielRay18 ай бұрын
I disagree. Batman doesn’t care about laws, I think that’s pretty obvious considering he’s a vigilante, it’s more about the morality of killing itself. While it’s understandable why Gordon did it, it wasn’t right because killing him in cold blood makes him just as bad as him. To further explain the logic is that if he kills Joker he saves tons of lives right? But what happens when that can be a solution to everything? You go from murderers to thieves to simple litterers, once you use it as a solution to prevent crime you essentially cross the line. I don’t think Batman should hold it against Gordon because of who Joker was, but he has a point.

This was brilliant. Maybe not the direction I expected it to go in, but the details here are great. Using monochrome to help with the noir atmosphere, the old-style cop cars and boxy SWAT truck with the old PASGT gear, you got the atmosphere down pat. Joker's actor was pretty solid too, maybe a little corny but he's good enough and it's well-shot enough that it didn't matter. Using the SWAT truck pulling up as a way to establish it showing up, introduce the location of the rest of the film, AND make Batman disappear all in one move was a brilliant, efficient play in writing and camerawork. I have a hard time believing Gordon would ever do in Joker unjustifably but you set up a plausible scenario where he would and frankly even managed to make him a little scary; if anyone knew how to get away with murder it'd be the head of the police, after all. Even Batman hasn't found that body. 10/10.
