Longtime Celtics fan here (1986-present). I know that your time in Boston didn't go as anticipated, and I know you probably aren't going to read this, but I just wanted to say thank you for everything that you gave to the team, fans and city. You are, and have been, a great player and an even better person and I have always loved your game. I truly believe had you and Irving not suffered season ending injuries in 2018, we would have seen one of the greatest Finals series in NBA history. Irving-Brown-Hayward-Tatum-Horford vs. Curry-Thompson-Iguodala-Durant-Green. Oh well. Regardless, I'm happy to see you doing well with Charlotte. Keep up the good work, G.

I remember watching the game, and was a little bummed that Utah played no defense to "honor" Kobe's last game. They essentially let him go off, but the crowd and stars that came out to watch the game made it super exciting. @@davis2k1234 man for real I’ve heard so many people say shit like that over the years it’s just a blatant lie I’ve went back and watched that game so many time Heyward and Hood were plastering him all game they brought a double team a few times in the third they were plastering and hand checking Kobe so much in the 1st quarter that Hood actually fouled him on a 3 point shot, then for Hayward to be that disingenuous and say oh he had a good last 3 minutes is crazy when Kobe went 8/13 from the field and scored 23 points in the final 9 minutes he really sounds salty about that game for some reason 😂
@mrburney1212 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Any player that’s decent in the league can score 35+ if they have 50 shots to take. Kobe is a legend but at this stage of the game he was a shell of himself that had a helluva night but some points were given. Yall remember him basically having a body ice pack on the bench. Again we all know he was one of the best but the last game was memorable for the respect given. Shots went in
