This is all false, one ramsey does not use these knives far from it, his knives in hells kitchen are all from the german maker wusthof and he dosnt use them at his house or anywhere else, he dosnt own the company hes just there as a face for hexclad, there pans he used to use but alot of his new posts hes back to ss only, and hexclad are being investigated for using constant chemicles in there non stick, these chemicles are called constant because the human body cant break them down so they build up each time eat after cooking in these pans, there knives are known to be soft steel all round with uncomfy handles and all round poor quality, there pans are possibly dangerouse as the can contaminate you food with there chemicle non stic, and there knives are not recomended by any top chef, ramsy get paid to blow smoke up there arse, i will be stucking with kikuichi knives there the top knife for cooking etc, proper japanese damascus and well made with a 100 step process and tested rigerously before there allowed to be sold. Yes they cost alot per knife, but im not complaining concidering they will last a lifetime if properly taken care of.
