Are the Jews going to turn from unbelief and accept Jesus? National Israel is not God's people. Spiritual Israel is God's people and they can be found all over the world.

(Romans 2:28-29 KJV) “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.” (Matthew 23:37-38 KJV) National Israel ceased to be God’s chosen when they rejected Stephens’ attempt to convince the Sanhedrin that they had crucified the son of God and were being called to repentance. They stopped up their ears and stoned him ending national Israel’s 490 years of probationary time (see Dan 9:24). The Gentiles are now God’s elect and any Jews who choose to renounce Judaism and follow Christ. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.” (1 Peter 2:9-10 KJV) You need to read all of Romans 11 to see that the Jewish nation is no longer God’s elect even though the nation does have a role to play in the final events of earth’s history. Speaking of the Jewish nation, Paul wrote: “I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.” (Romans 11:11-14 KJV) Individual Jews can be grafted in to the natural olive tree (Christ in the New Testament) more easily than the wild olive branches (Gentiles). “Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.” (Romans 11:19-21 KJV) Paul warns the Gentiles that the natural branches were broken off because of unbelief. “For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:” (Romans 11:24-26 KJV) Paul concludes by saying all Israel shall be saved. All who have believed in Christ for salvation shall be saved. God’s New Covenant Church is His temple, not some temple that the Jews think they are going to rebuild. Speaking of both Jew and Gentile Paul writes, “For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:18-22 KJV)
