2023 University of Alberta Alumni Awards honours Gordon Wilkes
Gordon H. Wilkes is a plastic surgeon, researcher and co-founder of the Institute for Reconstructive Sciences in Medicine, where he has pioneered improvements in facial prosthetics and ear reconstruction using a patient’s own rib cartilage.
2023 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient is the Alumni Association's highest honour, it recognizes the outstanding lifetime accomplishments of alumni who have earned national or international regard or have had significant local impact as a result of their outstanding professional achievements and/or service to society.
