Not so much selling the move, as just slow counting you because the ref is upset with being attacked.

THIS WEEK ON SMACKDOWN: The Miz calls out the frontrunner for the Intercontinental Championship in Tommaso Ciampa. Grayson Waller appears to take down the A-Lister in his pursuits to get Roman-kun to notice him. The Miz, unimpressed by his Australian Ghost of Christmas Future, fails to acknowledge him and leaves the ring prior to their match. What a heated exchange(?) Becky Lynch and Cora Jade, former tag team partners turned bitter enemies, squared off for a chance to face Nikki Cross for the Smackdown Women's Championship at Backlash. Jade's ambition was quickly proven to be misplaced when the Man absolutely Man-handled her into complete and total oblivion in a squash that lasted under five minutes. Lynch and Cross must now fight for the grandest title in WWE - Strongest U.K. Accent. Man.soor defeating a wild Chad Gable ended up earning MMM a shot at the Tag Team Championships on the blue brand. In their quest to further humiliate Alpha Academy alums en route to their title shots, Ma.ce ended up being defeated by a bleeding Otis in a singles match. Kofi Kingston (probably) defeated Butch in a match that ultimately denied the latter a shot at the Championship. I'd like to say this is the first time the former Pete Dunne has been screwed by management out of a major opportunity. I'd like to. I would really, really like to. Grayson Waller put his body on the line in the main event match against The Miz in order to gain the one thing he needs most - the validation of Roman-kun. A tremendously heelish match led to a tremendously heelish outcome as Waller pulled out a... clean, last-second victory. The cocky Australian defeated what many people believe is the 2010s version of himself to earn a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Will Waller finally be able to overcome Tommaso Ciampa? Does Becky Lynch have enough Man-ergy to defeat Nikki Cross at Backlash? And why the hell did Ma.ce vs Otis last over twice as long as Lynch vs Jade? Find out next time on Smackdown!
