Eh, I've come around a bit to this conversation mainly cause while Broly does tank a lot in the movie, it's usually cause he's stronger than his opponents. The world of DragonBall kinda establishes that if you're stronger than someone, it takes a lot of effort for that person to do any real damage on you. He doesn't really show anything notable when his opponent is similar in strength. I'd say the tankiest character by far in the series is fucking Frieza considering how long that fucker survives a beat down. The dude spends real life hours getting his ass beat, sliced into pieces, and blown up, just to live. And in both movies where Broly was actually Broly, the guy gets beaten in a single move. The first time he gets annihilated with a single punch from Goku and then the next he loses to the Family Kamehameha. He is actually a glass cannon cause both times he faced strength greater than his own, he gets fucking wiped in one go.

Broly is good and he does have defensive sustainability in the form of just a lot of healing. It's one of the weakest forms of defense and I'm not saying his defense is good but its wrong to say there's nothing. This is just a bad showcase because Broly doesn't have any good team members. This is how most 5x Zenkai buff team showcases go because all the options for the battle members have aged to the point where they're just complete garbage.

I will say about his defenses you kinda exaggerated because Broly has a lot more defensive mechanics than someone like Fusion Zamasu who has only healing and partial vanish recovery. I will admit he should've kept the disrupt post transformation. He is mostly meant to be ran with either a revival character like Pikkon or Golden Frieza or even Omega Shenron.

I have Broly at 7 stars. Goresh wasn't exaggerating at all. If you look at almost every damage dealer from 2023 fest and beyond, all of them had far better defensive mechanics and disruption. Even Nameku got disruption through his plat. I'd draw comparisons, but don't wanna make a wall of text. Broly by any means isn't a terrible character. I'm happy I summoned for him, and I'm happy to use him. It's just that they were very scared when designing him. Right now he's fine. But his kit won't well age at all... I agree about the ki disruption though. Should either refresh it or let it carry over.

Anyone can answer this question of mine when broly transform, to his bulky body why is it impossible to beat him when it's come to raw power.
