As an American It looks very fascinating actually I have a couple of South Asian friends plus I know Hindi as well I chose that language to learn because I am fascinated with Asia and I also know a bit of Urdu also I lived in Jammu Kashmir from age 2 to 4 and after a tragic accident that took my father, we came back to London

Hindi and urdu are almost the same while talking So basically you know both of them

@@alex-nu8cc thats true because urdu was made up of a bunch of languages like hindi (hence the similarity), turkish, persian, and arabic- it think there are more but im not sure lol. I think the only difference between the two languages is that in reading/writing, hindi has (i think) Sanskrit roots while urdu has persian and arabic roots. Also (another difference lmao) i lot of people in india pronounce urdu words for example like zindagi, zyada, zaroori, etc.. with a j instead, some people say it's because of ignorance or just not being taught properly how to pronounce it (idrc tho lol) so you can easily tell the difference by the way some people say it so yea lol (my native language is urdu so that's ik this stuff 😎😗)
