I hope you LOVE this Gorgeous DIY Lantern we made using DOLLAR TREE FRAMES and scrap wood pieces. This could go with any home decor style, but I would say it's Modern Farmhouse or Rustic Modern.

Really pretty. I like it better than ones I've seen with just the frames which I tried and they wouldn't take the glue. I either did it wrong or used the wrong frames. I don't know if I want to try it again but I like the wood on it. Makes it look like something I would find in a store, more high end than the tumbling tower blocks or just frames. I just made one using Dollar Tree rulers for the posts and Dollar Tree wall art for the top and bottom. Came out okay but one side didn't glue right but I was able to hide it with a bow. It's a Christmas present so I'm not really sure I want to give it to her. I don't know if I have time to try this one. I also like that it doesn't need to be painted because I'm not great at painting.

I just happened to notice this lantern in your cover image so searched "lantern" on the channel and found this. I have never liked the uneven sides that occur when you just put frames together - I had planned to just build some lanterns with wood to avoid that, but this gives a solution for adding glass sides if desired, without that overlap thing happening. Love it!

Great idea and very festive. 😊 I bought some of the smaller squares with bevelled edges at the hardware store to use as fence post toppers, but never installed them yet, so I wonder if they have different sizes? Mine are about 5 or 6 inches square. Might be worth a look for those of us without the right tools to cut our own. 😊 🎄

One room that is rarely DIYed for the Christmas Holiday is the bathroom!!!! This year w all the chaos we hav endured n continue to endure I want this Christmas to really b special for my 4 children but having a low income that leaves me w less than $20 a month I can’t go out n buy decor or nice presents so I hav to DIY what I can but I stay so tired n sick my brain is full of fog n I can’t think of any diy ideas so I was wondering if u could do some bathroom Xmas DIYs plz that Children ages 7-14 would enjoy to...I hav some scrap wood n ways of cutting it jus not the ideas!!!!
