This painting was great, but for myself... It was a lot of darkness around some really bright colors. I enjoy when you do the bright colors. The swipe technique is amazing when you do this painting. I mixed some black in with DecoArt Americana Metallic Emerald and made a dark emerald!!!! You won’t believe how beautiful this is for a base coat!!!! I wish I could send you pictures!!!! And it’s not to dark so all colors even dark ones still show up good!! Oh my word! It’s my favorite base now, 😊

I’m definitely more hippy than sophisticated that’s for sure, so I love any colour palette derived from nature and even that changes with my mood weather it’s warm earthy tones to calm beachy tones to the bright happy colours of insects or birds to a dark stormy sky …I love how this piece turned out ❤

My favorite color combination is bright turquoise, a solid pink, and yellow for flavor. I used those three crayons as far back as I can remember. My bridesmaids wore turquoise at my wedding in 1968. Still the same 3 find my hand first.

I love the idea of just leaving drops as is, especially on the base of black. I have seen some poured acrylics that are so cool when just poured. I love the purples, good rowdy violets, reds, blacks golds - anything with a snap to it! Love your beautiful artwork and your channel.

I've been watching your videos for a while now and really enjoy them. I like your style, such "sophistication". My favourite combination is lavender, sage green, some black and/or navy blue all on a cream/ivory background. I watched two UK guys do blob paintings. I didn't like it reminded me of pimples on canvas, maybe it was the way they did it. I think mixed with another technique rather than all blobs, it just lacked.
