Unless you buy your own lot of have a friend who will let you park your home, $900 doesn’t seem too expensive with all it includes. Condos in my area have $900 HOA fees.

I'm from Durango as well, and know exactly where Hermosa Orchards Village is. They're so right when they say it's a beautiful spot with spectacular views, and access to the Animas River, hiking/biking trails, and on up Hwy 550 into the mountains. These guys have done an amazing job in their stunning not-so-tiny house. Lots of elbow room and beautiful craftsmanship. It's really nice.

I’m serious the inside of your tiny house is unbelievable it’s like a regular house. you have a regular sofa I hate those box sofas that 90% of the people have but the ingenuity that your mate put into the drawers and pull out is so smart and so usable and like you say make your life so much easier. Yeah your decorations is beautiful and it’s amazing how big your living room is and your bathroom wow but everything is roomy, and very appealing!🎉

I really like the spaciousness of this home. Being 12 feet wide, instead of 8 or 10 feet really make a big difference. Your tiny house, doesn't seem as tiny as some I have seen. The big yard is nice to. You have a nice out door space. I really like the big shed, as well. Great for storing a lawn mower, and garden tools. As well as bikes, and anything else you may need to have space for. This is a very good one. Wonderful.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊.

Wonderful that you brought an existing Tiny Home and really made it your own. Great ideas to build the cubbies into sliding shelves and to put doors on them . I was wondering if you have solar too at all? I know in NZ we would be crazy not to . I haven’t owned a home in over 30 years, raised to boys on my own and now been raising my grand daughter from age 3 till now 14. I’m hoping to see myself in one for my retirement years 🤞. Would be a dream for me after 34 years of struggling to pay such crazy high rent. All those years of renting .. and nothing to show for it. Love this design for sure.

Yes but at the same time I hope the housing industry takes a lesson from this. Houses don't need excessive foyers, dining rooms, hallways, and other heat loving, dens, and other heat loving/zapping rooms that need furniture to fill them. People don't go outside much because their houses are large enough to roller skate in (lol). I am a big fan of Susan Susanka's, The Not So Big House in which she writes about the things I mentioned. This "tiny" home is an example that less is definitely more! 432 square feet is definitely livable!

If I were them, I would reroute the shower head to be over the soaking tub, or for a more affordable and less invasive option, attach a handheld shower head to the tub that can be held up by a hook and add a shower curtain track along the ceiling that's wide enough to comfortably shower in. Not only would that give them a more spacious showering area but it wouldn't take up any extra space, as they can just tuck the shower curtain behind the tub out of the way when they're not using it. Additionally, they can take out the shower in the corner and add more storage with maybe shelving or a storage cabinet, where they can store either linens and toiletries for the bathroom or use it as a closet for extra clothing storage. Or they could take it a step further, since they already have the water lines in that corner of the bathroom, and add in laundry hookups with either stackable units or they could do a combo unit on top built into a cabinet with storage shelves on the bottom for easier access with the toilet being next to it.

Hi. Lovely home! Just an idea for your bedroom… instead of having a clothing rack when you go into the bedroom, you could put store clothing display racks that go perpendicular out from the wall, then hang the shirts on hangers on the display rack

A beautiful couple in a beautiful barely tiny house. It has more usable space than my townhouse! I'm surprised that more tiny houses don't have slide out kitchen counter space and slide out shelving. The Japanese soaking tub is awesome - anybody have a link for the source of that?

I really like the bedroom and the fact that you can stand in it. I enjoy seeing tiny house videos but would never want a bedroom that required crawling. It just seems unpractical and uncomfortable when you are middle aged and older.

If it works, change the handle side of your fridge to the other side and then any molding shouldn't get in the way much. And, your fridge would function better opening into the kitchen rather than away from it.

The space itself is absolutely amazing but there's quite a bit of wasted space between the beginning of the kitchen and the front door/bathroom portion. There's a bunch of open space there that's difficult to utilize because the door is right there and the bathroom is on one of the walls.
