Absolutely right, northern kerala is infamous for private buses and accidents. Best avoided. Land acquisition is very problematic here hence roads are like country lanes.

Finally 6 laning of North Kerala's nh 66 is starting now. I watched this whole video to see my district, Kozhikode. Narrowest stretch i guess, with dangerous trucks and buses and auto rikshas turning at every corner 🤣. Hope you will come for another ride after 6 laning is completed.

Trucks are essential for the economy, they don't drive for a joy ride. It'd their work and they earn from that. If it's single lane road then obviously it will capture the road because of their size. It's not a bike. And about the Buses, you drive in your path according to the requirements of the two wheeler, and give s little space so they will overtake properly without hurting you even if it's very close by. That's a tip. Don't be afraid all such things, just trust and you do your part they will do theirs. Naye logo ko takleef hoti hai ehse hi 😂. Nice video BTW 👍.
