Iriki had hormonal imbalances after giving birth to Ringo and fur plucked horribly. It's very common with first time mothers and young mothers. Female gorillas have post-partum issues just like us.

This is very sad. In the wild Tayari would be Alpha female because she is smarter and gave birth first. Ringo and Iriki bully her because they know if she fights back Djeeco will suppress. She is younger than Iriki too. I hate the way both her and Jabali have to beg for attention. If they go away these three would sit, eat and in general get on eachothers nerves. They would have no one to pick on.
