This is Haoko, a gorilla Dad who absolutely adores some playing time with his little ones.
However, there’s one slight problem - his missus doesn’t allow it while the kids are still too young.
But Haoko has a solution.
He playfully 'abducts' his own kids, turning it into a fun game.
Every time the mum comes around, he forces her into a harmless, funny chase.
This has become something of a family tradition, as Haoko has done this with all three of his children.
Here he is, making a run for it with his six-month-old son. The mother may not look too pleased, but rest assured, Haoko is a fantastic dad, and his playful antics have never resulted in any harm to his kids.

Most good Mother's are protective of their babies, & don't want anyone, even the Father playing too rough. And most good Fathers are protective as well. But tend toward more "risky" play & behaviour with their kids. i.e. throwing them in the air higher than the Mother typically would, & catching them. And most good Mother's feel at least a little alarm at such Fatherly antics, at least at first, but ultimately understand that male & female are different. And Mothers & Fathers play, protect, & care for those they love differently. And as they watch the Father, their trust in his ability grows. And as stated in the video, it's a game between them. He turned it into a tradition with each kid.

With gorillas having 4 times denser muscles than the strongest man alive allowing them to lift and throw around 815kgs, I don’t see how their our great great great ect grandparents. You know how beneficial being at least 30% of that strength would be for us? All animals I know of have very human feelings and characteristics but are obviously not all our great granddaddy. Common ancestor? More like common designer. Life is way too complex.
