This video was filmed on April 18, 2024.
Gentaro used to play with the zookeeper a lot, but he doesn't play with them much these days.
If anything, Momotarou plays with the zoo keeper more than Gentaro.
On this day too, when Kintaro was playing with the zookeeper, Momotaro came.
Momotarou sat in front of the zookeeper in Kintarou's place and touch her arm many times.
The zookeeper was laughing and talking to Momotarou, which showed how good their relationship was.

⭐️Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
Born in Ueno Zoo on July 3, 2000.
His father is Biju and his mother is Momoko.
His father died before he was born and he grew up never knowing his father.
He came to Kyoto City Zoo in 2010 and is now a father of two sons.
⭐️Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Born on June 24, 1986 at the Kyoto City Zoo.
Her father is Mack and her mother is Hiromi.
When she was 10 years old, she went to Ueno Zoo for breeding purposes.
But she had a bad relationship with another female gorilla, and she injured her fingers and toes with her self-mutilation and lost a lot of weight.
When she returned to her hometown of Kyoto City Zoo, she was fine, and she lived with various male gorillas.
Then she met Momotaro and she gave birth to two lovely sons whom she lovingly raised.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at the Kyoto City zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
He is very close with his younger brother Kintaro and they play together almost every day.
⭐️Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at Kyoto City Zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.

Genki is plumper than ever. It must be the result of her teeth being fixed so that she can chew better and absorb more nutrients. Gentaro is turning into a big, stout boy, too. It was cute seeing Momotaro with the zookeeper. I noticed she made no attempt to hold his hands! Kintaro swinging and hanging upside down in front of his dad was hilarious. Classic “look at me, Dad!” moves. Thanks for sharing this video. ❤

Yes, I also noticed the zoo keeper keeping her fingers to herself, unlike with Kintaro. It looked like it startled her for a moment when Momotaro touched her hand the first time. I can imagine that it wouldn't take a lot of effort for a full grown silverback like him to rip somebody's finger off. I don't think he would but I'm sure they need to be cautious. This lady zoo keeper has such a special relationship with every member of this family. You can tell that she has a very bright & beautiful soul. 💕💕💕

She made a birthday video for him one year. She said that he will randomly do the cutest sweetest things. Also, he acknowledges her by grunting when she talks to him. Oh and he lets her touch him besides training. She seems like an amazing person

Its not affection that Momo wants. Besides, Genki is afraid of Momo. When they open the doors and let them all outside, Genki crouches down and comes out like a terrified kitten. She’s looking to see where Momo is and whether or not she’s allowed to eat. That’s a horrible way to live…..scared all the time.
