This type of semi is called a cabover. This is due to the cab being right over the engine. The big hump in the cab is the motor. Hope that clears up some things.

When we spend money on a game especially with the word simulator in the title, it should be as realistic as possible with something as simple as diesel engines or glow plugs rather than spark plugs. So yes simulator enthusiasts do care so go be a dick somewhere else.
