Regal is a true wrestler's wrestler. A man who's never let his ego get in the way of doing what's truly best for business, although its a travesty he was never a heavyweight champion. There's a tonne of guys who're kicking arse on the card right now who've benefited from this man's expertise. Nothing but respect for the guy.

WWE seems like they are starting to break the trend of it "being too late" so I hope so! I have a whole list of candidates I'd love to see in... Arn Anderson (on his own, just like Flair), Macho Man, Of course Owen, Vader, Rick Rude, Dave Finley, The Freebirds, Brooklyn Brawler, Midnight Express, Bill Dundee, Great Muta... I could go on and on!

I think he would be already except for the fact that he is still very active in the company. They tend to hold off till someone is retired, or at least not as out in the open as he is as commissioner of NXT. He's also being a bit too modest about Daniel Bryan, Michaels is a great wrestler, one of the best workers ever, but according to most not the greatest trainer and Regal helped Bryan train alot.
@CaptainMonotone44811 жыл бұрын
Regal speaks so much truth. Bryan is not being held down or buried like so many believe. Yes the wwe has refused to make him "the man" for the most part, but Bryan has always been in a top spot since 2012.
@masimbw11 жыл бұрын
Spot on, by 'denying' him his opportunities and screwing him in title matches, its made him a Underdog style hero, they aren't stupid, they know what people want... bit like Cena when he first started out, but as Regal says he's got the bonus of being a very good wrestler. Everyone hates Cena for what he is but you have got to give him credit for how he's achived his status.
@jessebowman16110 жыл бұрын
but fans want him to be 'the guy', and that's the issue with the wwe.

Jesse Bowman theres no reason that he cant become the guy. there are a lot of things that could potentially stop that from happening. but in terms of his work ethic and his ability to entertain us, i cant think of anything that could stop him from being the guy in a year or two at the earliest

I agree with Mr Regal, people have to separate storylines with real life, fans don't really know how much Daniel Bryan is working within the company on storylines. I'm glad to see legends like Robbie Brookside and him being used like this, this system also as he says can benefit from these guys lending their knowledge and experience, the wealth of legends and their knowledge that wwe has is unmatched by any other company!

I worked at an arena a few years ago and saw William walk out to his rental car and fans had aligned along the fence and were telling him they loved him and were cheering him, but he never looked up at them or acknowledged them in any way, maybe he was still selling his character, I don't know, but he honestly didn't look like he cared. Doesn't seem like a bad dude here, but back then, he acted like an ass to his fans.

I love Regal, but I'm not 100% convinced about the WWE's training facility. I have the feeling it will produce a lot of Ortons - proficient but boring performers that can't handle it when something goes wrong, or when the fans don't go along with the script. As rough as the indies are, they seem to create much more interesting and well-rounded workers.
