Is Chad leaving WWE? No. Absolutely not. The whole contract story is a WWE work. They would not have flown him to Clash At the Castle, reportedly after his contract is up, and booked him on a WWE PPV, and dedicated TV time to him, had he not already re-signed. That happens in the indies or with smaller promotions that NEED the star power to push their product, but WWE doesn't need Chad. Chad needs them.

Chad Gable needs to win this. The stars in the business that know the business, the legends, they always say it needs to move the story. Sami winning here does not do anything for the story. Ok Sami wins aNd yOu cAn bE lIkE sAmI tOo, that is all you will get. Chad needs to win this and then they put Sami on the shelf, they injure Sami Zayn(Sami goes off TV)he gets carted off at the PPV. Then Gable comes back on RAW to celebrate and then keeps calling Sami nothing, and Sami lost everything and Sami would have never won if it wasn't for Gable. And then he turns to Otis and says, this is why Otis listens to me, because he was nothing just like Sami is now and they all need Master Gable, and then Gable talks about how he will be the best IC Champion now who is able to stop me? And then someone can come to ring and challenge him(or Tozawa can grab the mic and say ME) and Gable can be like HAHAH if you want to have a shot at this title you will have to go through our star pupil Otis first. Then Gable says finish em Otis and then Otis doesn't move and the Chad says Otis I said FINISH him. And then Otis doesn't move and then Chad slaps Otis and says YOU DO WHAT I SAY and then Otis slams Gable into the ground and then goes to grab the IC title and holds up the IC title. Otis vs Gable feud and Otis can win the title! Then Chad can form a new faction and call it the Table of Gable and Chad can call himself the Head of The Table, the amount of heat he would get LOL and then he can call himself the tribal teach and completely rip the Bloodline but that has to be after the fact that Roman returns to stop the current Bloodline. And then once that story is over you could have Gable rip the Head of the Table gimmick and then feud with Roman Jimmy Jey and (rumored Fatu) and then Sami can return in this storyline. That would be wild but it is unlikely it would be hilarious though having The Table of Gable

Their situations were different. Cody was aiming to be a world champion, the face of a brand or a company. When there was no other alternative and they weren’t going to have him stop being Stardust, he bet on himself and walked away. I don’t really know what Chad’s goal is. But I assume it’s to hold down a good paying job, maybe. Either way, he was way too talented to be in a garbage gimmick clearly made up by Vince to insult him. He managed to luck out where he outlasted Vince and made it to the position he is now. Glad both managed to find their way to success in the post-Vince era.
