Shot during the production of my Channel 4 documentary - Smashing Glass Ceilings: The Women of WWE - I interviewed Triple H to talk about the business side of WWE, his career inside and outside of the ring, how the women's division has evolved, and how the recent changes in WWE - from the Performance Center and NXT to females headlining PPVs - came about. Make sure you watch the whole WWE documentary HERE: sstrk.co/2jXDIP9 (viewers outside of U.K. must watch on *desktop*)

Vigilantee 2017 casual fans don't watch wwe interviews dude.. And yea I watch nxt they have some good talent there.. I'm just saying having Hunter call the shots might not change wwe for the better but it will surely be better than Vince and his bullshit pushes!

MAD MAN oh trust me they watch interviews. Propably just because they like the professional wrestlers but what can you do. Anyway, the booking in NXT is top notch, and having triple h as the man calling the shots would be a blessing.

Hopefully he takes over the whole business, gotta respect Vince for creating this but I think he's a liability now. HHH knows the guys from NXT's talent, Kevin Owens probably never would have been champion if HHH wasn't there, Vince only likes the guys who look good.

_lakersnation24 the biggest difference between vince and HHH is that vince looks at talent from a marketing and product standpoint. HHH believes in more letting talent grow and catering to fans. HHH created NXT, the reason why we have guys like Bray, KO, Sasha Banks, etc. Vince isnt stupid tho at all. He knows rhat roman reigns is hated. Thats why he is still supporting him as a top guy. Cuz its easier to market and best for results. Vince is a genius in his own right too

I wouldn’t say Vince is a liability, not at all, but I do think he needs to let go of the reigns of creative to HHH. Not just the talent portion, but storyline’s, promos, etc. WWE has essentially become a victim of it’s own success, in that they swallowed up all the competition, and they have become such a juggernaut that it’s killed the creative process and there product has suffered. WWE had the right Idea back when, with the brand extension (Smackdown) but it quickly became Raw part 2, what they need to do is run there separate brands as stand alone businesses, allow whomever they put in charge of those businesses total control to run it differently than there Raw brand. This is in essence what HHH did with NXT, and it has arguably become more popular than the “main roster”. In my opinion they need to keep it (and any other brand extension) separate from “Raw” or the “Main Roster” and allow the brand extensions to create competitive competition to there primary brand, while staying separate and unto itself to ensure no bleed through so that the vision of the other brands get watered down by the parent company. They could have done this with WCW back when they purchased it, but I think Vince was more interested in (whether he was actually conscious of it or not) squashing the competition and showing Raw as a superior brand. Raw only became a superior brand by having to improvise, adapt and counter the fierce competition of WCW. Once they were bought out, and the competition was no more, Raw slowly deteriorated into what it is now. (There were other factors as well, but lack of competition is ultimately the reason) It’s a shame because they could have let Bischoff and a handful of people Bischoff wanted run with the company intact, (as WCW) and kept that fierce rivalry, only they would reap all the rewards because regardless of who’s camp a fan leaned towards, it would have still been all WWE.

Eh, I have to go back to Lita and Trish. Although they were forced to do the “diva” storylines (and submitted to some very stupid and disrespectful eye candy type stuff) there was no denying there moves in the ring. when you cut through all the crap, and just watch the matches, those 2 were amazing athletes! (Still are from what I understand) and they were smart enough and strong enough to say, enough is enough, if were not going to be treated seriously as performance athletes, we’re out of here. And they both split while still in their prime. They could still be going today, but had they stayed, I don’t know if the women’s division would be taken as seriously as it is now. And quite honestly it’s the best part of the show these days
