Cavaco Troika Yeeeeeah, The Fall in my mind is the one album that's just... there. It doesn't advance the story, it's very simple musically. It's good, it's just not Gorillaz/ Demon Days/ Plastic Beach good. Of course it was never meant to be either.

Cavaco Troika Oh no, I know that and I agree! Albairn is IMO one of the most amazing musicians of our time and his willingness to experiment with everything he can get his hands on is admirable. I definitely appreciate The Fall, but still, it's kind of a side thing for the Gorillaz project, an experiment that he couldn't really fit anywhere else.

Personally, I always thought "Demon Days" was a kind of snapshot of 2005; themes like war, indifference and greed permeate the album. Even the beats seem corrupted and filled with a hazy self-loathing. Instead of being about celebrating and having a good time, the album seems more about doing drugs and dancing like you hope tomorrow never comes. It's more "There's A Riot Goin' On" and less "Homework," if you know what I mean (no offense to Sly & The Family Stone or Daft Punk).

It's interesting to see that a majority of Gorillaz fans don't really care about the themes of anti-war, depression and other problems of the world that their music is about. They only care about the story of a bunch of anime characters with catchy pop songs in the background. Going through the comments most of them don't even like rap lmao.

He barely even says anything, but Damon Albarn (2D) has such a great voice. The shit he can do with it never ceases to cause a smile to tug at the corners of my lips. :)

My dad would always play this when I was like, 3 or 4, possibly 5, and I loved it then. 10 years later, I always listen to this like it's the first time I've heard it! It still slaps! Love it so much!!!

I remember when I played this for my friend on his phone and he was like “Dang this song is good I wonder what the lyrics are.” He then looked them up and said “holy crap this is dark.”

YES!!!!!!!!!! I've been looking through this song FOR AGES, and I've finally found it after 2 hours of searching on youtube....Although, I suppose I got to witness the epicness that is Gorillaz after listening to almost all their songs; as a bonus XP

I actually like Feel Good Inc. . I listened to it in 2005, I was like 8 :D And I had it on a CD called "2005 hits" and I still love it. Gorillaz are original. I like their music.

This song will always remind me of my father out on deployment. He brought a CD of Demon Days with him to Iraq. I learned about Gorillaz because of him and I've been a fan ever since.

Gorillaz is a great band, i have all their albums except the recent one since i didn't really think much of their new songs, but their old material was epic.

the rap is great, gorillaz have always used rap, they made the music the way they wanted. They wanted rap in their music if you don't like it make some music the way you like it.
