One of my favorite Gorillaz Phase 1 era b-sides. The best way I can describe the aura is that it feels as though you're sitting in the backseat of a car, half-awake, while peering out the window on a long sunny drive.

Fun fact : Murdoc's middle name (Faust) is based on a story of the same name, about a man (named John Faustus or John Faust) who sold his soul to Mephistopheles (or Satan, or Mephisto) which is allegedly based on a real person, the story also resembles how Murdoc sold his soul to be able to play bass

The truth is, this song depresses me a little, I feel that the best way to enjoy it is on a somewhat monotonous day, alone at home, or on a trip, in the afternoon... At least that's how I listen to it

"Faust" is Murdoc's middle name, as he made a deal with the devil.

@@artemon_az if not mistaken, he changed his middle name cuz before was "Alphonse", I remembered Rise of the Ogre, I mostly listen the audiobook version and almost memorize the story
