my dad loves this song, we always listen to it when we are in the car, he always asks me to put it on so i can sing for him, its funny cuz the last time we heard it in the car he said i love you to me for the first time, it was weird for a minute but i guess hes just bad with words, i was suprised, but in a nice way, i will always remember that moment.

Why am I crying? Your comment makes me breakdown like how the last episode of invincible did…Evil Superman Dad was pummeling his son to death for not wanting to invade the world with him (Omniman) then says-“You'll outlast every fragile, insignificant being on this planet. You'll live to see this world crumble to dust and blow away! Everyone and everything you know will be gone! What will have after 500 years?” Invincible : You, Dad. I'd still have you…. If you haven’t seen invincible the superhero show I’d highly suggest it.

Singing this song to my bff made her see me in a different light and we started going out, but things didn't work out. I can't tell if this song is more beautiful or more depressing because of it. Still one of my favorite Gorillaz songs regardless :)

I enjoyed this song when I first heard it around 2016. It hits different now that I have to move on from a relationship of three years. I'm crying so hard but I think it's helping. How awfully spot-on it encapsulates the terrible melancholy when you relapse and pine for someone you're no longer with.

Hey, it's been a year since you posted this comment. I don't know if you'll see this, but if you do, I hope you're in a better place! You'll find your person. Moving on is hard. It's like your trapped in this rough patch and you don't know how to get out of it. But you will! I hope all is well, mate! Wishing you the best💚

To Binge Gorillaz Waiting by the mailbox, by the train Passin' by the hills 'til I hear the name I'm looking for a saw to cut these chains in half and all I want is Someone to rely on as Thunder comes a rolling down Someone to rely on as Lightning comes a staring in again I'll wait to be forgiven Maybe I never will My star has left me To take the bitter pill That shattered feeling Well the cause of it's a lesson learned Just don't know if I could roll into the sea again Just don't know if I could do it all again she said, it's true Waiting in my room and I lock the door I watch the colored animals across the floor And I'm looking from a distance And I'm listening to the whispers And oh it ain't the same, when your falling out of feeling and your Falling in and caught again (caught again) I'm caught again in the mystery You're by my side, but are you still with me? The answer's somewhere deep in it, I'm sorry but your feeling it But I just have to tell you that I love you so much these days Have to tell you that I love you so much these days, it's true My heart is in economy Due to this autonomy Rolling in and caught again Caught again Caught again Caught again My heart is in economy Due to this autonomy Rolling in and caught again Caught again

I loved this song 5 years ago. Today I love it differently, because I understand its meaning and totally relate to it after my 4-years-relationship's breakup. Here is the nearest meaning to me, written by "PolyphonicPrayer" : "Waiting by the mailbox, by the train Passing by the hills 'til I hear the name Looking for a saw to cut the chains in half and all I want Is someone to rely on this Thunder comes a roaring down Someone to rely on this Lighting comes a-staring in again" Je pense qu'ici, la femme attend des nouvelles de l'homme. "I'll wait to be forgiven, maybe I never will My star has left me to take the bitter pill That shattered feeling well the cause of its a lesson learned Just don't know if I can roll into the sea again Just don't know if I can do it all again, she said, 'it's true'" De l'autre côté, le mec sait qu'il a fichu quelque chose avec cette fille. "Went into my room and I locked the door Watched the colored animals cross the floor But I look on from a distance and I'm listening to the whispers And oh it ain't the same when you've fallen outta feeling And you're rolling in and caught again" Now the girl is getting a little more unhinged by the situation. "I'm caught again in the mystery You're by my side, but are you still with me? The answers somewhere deep in it I'm sorry that you're feeling it But I just have to tell you that I love you so much these days Have to tell you that I love you so much these days, it's true" L'homme peut l'avoir récupéré avec lui, mais elle n'est plus entièrement investie dans la relation à cause de ce qu'il leur est arrivé dans le passé. Out of Time" (Blur) : "And you've been so busy lately/That you haven't found the time..."

I’m sure Damon was way over it by this point but it would seem slightly uncomfortable to be so close to a poster of Pavement’s Stephen Malkmus on the wall considering he befriended Damon and Justine and then fucked Justine on their bed when Blur was on tour.
