Dear scopely, 15 weeks is ridiculous for a ship that does literally nothing for me as a G5 player. I didnt buy it when it came out, and im not gonna buy it now. Ill grind it out sure, just cause its something to do. But I have 0 intention of buying a ship, that requires me to buy another 8 packs of upgrades, before the refinery pays out relevant mats.

14 weeks might be a long time, but it's the same as the NX-01, but only if you pull the double chest every day and limit your accessibility to the Ex-Borg Favors. If you do it the efficient way, the NX-01 takes 200 days, or 28 and a half weeks! Both are ridiculous.

Absolutely. I would do a double pull for nx01, but the penalty for pulling 2 vs 1 is too great. And I guess both these ships are one trick ponies anyway.

"Give more" is something that Scopely will never do. The only thing they're more resistant to doing than giving more to their players is reducing the price of packs.

Piplup! 100 days in weeks is 14.28. That’s why Scopely is giving 14 bps per week. So it take the same amount of time as the NX-01.

Completely agree. It's ridiculous. They need to push a lot of old content into freebooters so people can enjoy the new content. Mantis, Borg probes etc should be completed with a daily that is completed with freebooter hostiles

I agree, making it 20 bps per run would be preferable. Those that wanted the ship right away, bought it. Why make it take 15 more weeks to obtain. Reducing the amount of grind is a huge QOL initiative that should be in serious consideration, even with newer content.

I agree. The CM said it would take like 3 months with the event to get the ship. They do indeed to increase the event layout to 20 bps.

They had implied it would be for everyone but came to know only for ops 40 & above. What would have been better is to let everyone have a chance. I don't mind grinding for 3 months every Thursday if I know that the ship will be available to use the moment I hit ops 40. That's the way it should be.

That John Connor is my lvl39 hero. I'm at lvl 39 and plan to camp out for a very long time just to do everything. That ship is still ugly to me, but I agree it needs to raised up to 10 weeks in stead of 14. Also why Thursday?!? We already got the rogue thing, put it on another day that doesn't have anything like Tuesday!!! I was going to say Friday also but incursions happens usually on a Friday, don't want that.

Rev, thanks as always for your great videos. This drip is ridiculous. Is this ship or this loop even going to be relevant in 15 weeks? My alliance can't even figure out how to use the ship when someone opens a rift. Do we need to have the currency to travel? No one has an idea and no one is using the ship for travel anymore because of that.

Rev, I agree, the length does not make sense, even with the opinion that for players lvl 47 and above, the ship makes sense only because of the Refiner, otherwise not. I am also for lvl 39 to have this Event. Also, EX BORG stor could move to a lower lvl. thanks for the video.🖖

i know that they have to give some time for the paid version of the ship from day one is to give them a chance to have fun before the free to play.. but i have no idea how the free to play is linked to the mirror event.. they should have released it in the last week of the last event.. least it would have some context in the game but glad its in game now..

Here is another example of scopely not doing what they said they were going to do! How hipacritical! Quality over Quantity!! Now doing 14 weeks to get a ship and also all this new stuff with the mirror universe!! Again only making sure that the Whales or even Super Whales are happy. Everyone else doesnt really matter. If they ask for packs to upgrade just give us the damn ship at level 1!

Scopely Listen!!! Either… 1. Change the event to 20bps OR run the event twice a week. 2. Instead of making the event disappear, keep it running and after you unlock the ship, give us mats/upgrade mats for the ship. I’d continue doing the event if it meant helping me to build the ship. You want more screen time(cuz we don’t already have enough 😒)? Then make the event worthwhile after grinding for this ship that frankly doesn’t do anything for me as my Pilum kills plenty of Gorn. Will it help some? Yea, sure. But I don’t NEED this ship, so make it worth my time 🤷‍♂️. Okay, thanks for maybe listening Scopes!!

even though i just upgraded to ops 41, i do feel like a smarter move would have been make the event available to ops 39 players. theoretically, what's more likely going to incentivize a player to past that ops 39 barrier, a new loop that's 40+ or seeing a ship that you have the BPs to build if you move one more ops level. Also, making the ship take 15 weeks to complete is ridiculous when we already waited a month for the sourcing. It was their mistake for wording last month's patch notes in a way where the community agreed that the sourcing was supposed to be last month. Now F2P has to wait until late September/first week of October before they can build it. the ship isnt even really worth buying as the officer sourcing is the only thing that the ship has going for it, since its ability was DOA

Interesting how they say go until you get the 200 needed. But the math will get you 4 short on week 14. So basically you will always be over unless you short yourself a few weeks

I'm ok with the 14-15 week collection cycle. What I am worried about is the Eviscerator, Talios, and Defiant are all interceptors, and since I'm playing solely Klingon I've got my Hegh'ta which is an interceptor too. That's *a lot* of resources if I want to push them. How high would you take them?

~100 days for unlock is reasonable. BUT that has to be counting from launch, like the NX-01. This is more like 130 days, which is too long. OH repeatedly said they'd be similar, but you can't just ignore the full month it took for the event to start.

I personally don't even feel like 15 weeks/105 days is reasonable. Even if it started week one. Cerritos doesn't take that long. Monaveen doesn't take that long. Vidar/Disco/etc.

Probably not in the next event store either. I was excited for my first Christmas event store since everyone said it would be the best just to find out it was the first to get worse than the regular ones.

I personally wish they’d go with the Vi’Dar/Disco model. Unlocked during the arc…if you want it sooner you can pay and there are events to participate in during the arc to encourage the upfront purchase. But…if they’re not going to do that I agree this is too long, anyone with the ship shouldn’t get the event, and the event should give out the exact number needed. 20 bps/week for 10 weeks (though I’d prefer 40 for 5 weeks). Perfect.

Gorn, NX01 and Moraveen all at ops 40 got to pick the best one You can get the Moraveen BPs at OP39 So you can have the ship ready to build as soon as you go to ops 40

Sandscrew is the GOAT and sub Level 40 should be able to source the ship, there are plenty of examples of when you can source BPs before you can build it

This is great when i eventually get to 40. Im lvl 33 struggling to get to 40 i feel like im being preasured to get there faster then i want to be there and as a result i know my research is bad and thats even with a second research slot. 😑 Back when i played pokemon i enjoyed nidoqueen was a beast and u could gove it the elemental attack you were missing. My moveset was thunderbolt, ice beam, flamethrower and toxic (which was broken when it was available to be taught. Bubblebeam also worked or even body slam for another move that had a chance for paralysis but it pulls from attk instead of sp atk.

14 weeks where you only have to do something once a week. Imo not to bad. Most f2p players still working on thr nx01 unlock that i know or just recentlly got it. Since some or a good chunk of players do 1 shard a day = 200 days / 27 weeks (since we had some bps free). This is not to long if the next specialty ship wont come for the first 2 arcs now at least so we have time to grind for it.

It's not. First, it isn't 14 weeks, it's 15, and second, Cerritos = 10 weeks. Monaveen is same timeframe. Heck the feesha/talios are isntant if you've completed their starter loops.
