The elders likely are different age as the Op-Op fruit can only do one immortal surgery per wielder. Every time it manifests or someone eats it they would put out bounty for it and coerce the wielder to execute surgery on the next elder. It likely took centuries for all five to receive immortality. I’m surprised Law’s bounty isn’t ‘Alive Only’ as Garling would be a likely target for next gift. Also wondering if the elders might have a tether of sort or shadow that is their connection to Imu and their weakness.

I don‘t get why everyone thinks Ju Peter is the youngest Gorosei. If they stay the same age as they were after the immortality surgery, he might have been the first to get it, while the others aged further until they received theirs.

It's a good theory, I wouldn't say it's wrong, but I have a different approach. Gorosei have scars that indicate they can be hurt, it's like Kaido who can't be harmed until someone gives him a permanent scar. If there's one thing I've noticed in One Piece, it's that each Arc Main Villains indicates what the next villain is capable of. Crocodile was the first user of Logia Devil Freuit and the first main villain to defeat Luffy. And after Crocodile we have Enel, Aokiji and Kizaru, so it is possible that after Kaido. One Piece's next main villains would show that there are more types of Devil Fruits than ever seen before just like the Gorosei's Devil Fruits. Some Devil Fruits are considered special among the types that they represent like Kaido's Devil Fruit the Uo Uo no Mi is considered special and stronger in the Mythical Zoan-Type Devil Fruit family. Enel's Devil Fruit the Goro Goro no Mi is considered special and stronger in the Logia-Type Devil Fruit family. And, Whitebeard's Gura Gura no Mi is considered special and stronger in the Paramecia-Type Devil Fruit family. So, Gorosei Devil Fruits could be a special type of Devil Fruits could be some special type of Zoan Devil Fruits in the Mythical Type family. Enel's Devil Fruit is considered special because it can revive its user, so it is possible that the Gorosei Devil Fruits has the power to grand immortality to their users. Which may explain why the Gorosei cannot die and are immune to attacks because their Devil Fruits grant them immortality. So in my opinion the Gorosei are not Demons, but Humans who ate a special type of Devil Fruits that grants them immortality. Well Those Are My Two Cents.

I wonder whether Imu created the devil fruits. If Imu and the Gorosei are literally devils it might be an option. If Imu has the power of the seas, it would explain why everyone who eats them gets weak touching sea water. By offering everyone power, devil fruits became of interests to humans, but the true goal is to make them weak to sea water. If the devil fruits would just be decoys, no one would eat them. But since dreams are the reasons for the devil fruit powers to manifest, they became too strong and Nika and other powers to counter the devils came into the world.

I think the key to this question is whether they are even using a devil fruit. In just about every other case a user debuts their devil fruit abilities, the fruits are labeled. The Gorosei did not have a fruit label. Only the names of the yokai forms. So are they even using devil fruits, or are they actually yokai demons?

I dont think the gorosei are immortal like imu, it seems like they live for centuries but not as long as the void century based on their dialouge when they feared the nika fruit awakening they thought it was a legend and didnt know why the previous admin/WG founders changed the name of the nika fruit. If the iron giant doesnt expose some sort of weakness in them i like the idea that the belief of the masses is root of the their regen as their is a religious or faith based theme with the egghead arc in regards to kuma,bonney and sun god nika and when the gorosei or WG are exposed by vegapunks message its gonna trigger a mass disbelief in the WG which will cripple the gorosei's regen

Ancient weapon pluton is the weakness of these gorosei. Vegapunk foreshadow this with his plutonic gloves invention. Gorosei are like ghost that can be seen but dont take damage just like the hologram at egghead island. Uranus is another mystery though but i wont be surprise if it will counter imu's power.

I don't think the gorosei are true demons, I think they are like black beard and just have multiple devil fruits giving them access to a unique combination of abilities. I think its a myth that people can't eat multiple fruit, I believe there are some fruits that are naturally compatible with each other and other that would fight just like with human personalities and if you get the right combo it would work. I believe people occasionally figure that out and sometimes mess up leading to the legend about exploding from eating two fruits.

Luffy is still below a Fresh Kaido at this point and he already got tired once after fighting Kizaru so he's probably not at 100%, and even if he was it wouldn't matter. Yes he's really powerful but no way can he beat the Gorosei. Best he can do right now is try to hold them off until Vegapunk's message goes through, but he definitely needs help from the giants and others to do that.

I have to disagree on your take that Imu is based on Lucifer. In occult teachings and Gnostic teachings there is what they called duality light and dark blue and red and many of manga writers like Oda are very into this kind of teachings. So in this instance the Dark side or lets just say Satan is Blackbeard and the light side is Lucifer which in One piece is Luffy. Now let me explain why. A lot of similarities between Luffy and Lucifer in One Piece. Luffy just like Lucifer fell from heaven in this case Luffy fell in Marineford. Luffy's name in the dresrossa arc is Lucy short for Lucifer. He is the sun god which in our world is same as apollo the sun god or the light bearer if you will. Your explaination is probably the closest of all in regards to simlarities of our world and one piece and I believe oda is a high level freemason based on his occult knowledge. and my last take the void century is similar to our dark ages very little is known about the dark ages just my two cents.
