When I was a child I never really realised how genuinely amazing gumball really was, I enjoyed it but never understood how good it was. As a teen now I see how good cartoons were back then.

Gumball is genuinely one of the most creative and inventive cartoons on Cartoon Network. It’s one of those shows where each season just got better and better to the point where it went from just your standard episodic cartoon to something that still was episodic but fleshed out the world to where they would have episodes that would add another layer to the world, references stuff from previous episodes but in surprisingly unique ways, give some more emotional depth to the characters and break the fourth wall in ways I don’t think have ever been done in a cartoon. It’s truly something special.

Oh yeah Gumball is canonically caked up. In one episode one of his friend started smacking people's butts as a goodbye for some reason. But he didn't do it for Gumball. He got so offended he spend the entire episode trying to get him to slap his ass (he even made a song about it). So yeah I was bisexual myself by the end of that episode

The friend you're talking about is Tobias. Tobias didn't smack Gumball's butt cuz he thought Gumball wouldn't like it. And at the end of the episode after Gumball finally got his butt smacked, he slapped Tobias in the face and got upset about it.

FINALLY! I always needed you to watch something Gumball related. Oh and trust me the jokes are actually funnier with context. Honestly one of the most creative modern animated shows when it comes to humor (The channel "spr" also makes out of context Gumball compilation BUT...with slightly more context)

I always thought this show would just be mediocre and dumb until I actually watched it. The sheer amount of social commentary, jokes, gags, etc... made it amazing and hilarious both in and out of context. You should definitely watch it. There's some seriously funny gags and 4th wall breaks. Gumball is like the Deadpool of cartoon characters.
