Great solid review, as always. Question: Why do you prefer it without the frame sheet? Also, how do you feel about GR not lining some of the interior?

I like my bags to be more floppy and soft. The frame sheet does its jobs well and makes the back more rigid. I think seeing the back of the x-pac looks cool. I got this bag at a deep discount, if I were paying full price I would expect ALL the bells and whistles, including being fully lined. Thanks for commenting and watching 🫶🏽🙌🏽!!

How do the zippers feel on this version? Is it vx21 or vx42?

It is VX21. The aquaguard zippers feel smooth. I hadn’t owned the previous version so I can’t compare the two but these are some of the smoother AG zippers i’ve used.
