Amazonプライムで見つけた時、「え、bones制作？主役悠木碧？ 岡田麿里シリーズ構成？キャラ原案武田日向？ なんでまだ俺これ見てないの？」って大興奮した覚えがある。 挙句、ローマ字読み解いたら「よしきりさ？どういうこと？」 一本調子な感じなのにやけな耳につく、聞けば聞くほど爽やかに聞こえる不思議な歌声。 歌も本編もリピートできる名作だよな。

私が小学校低学年の時にお姉ちゃんと見てたアニメでそれが小学校高学年になってから無性に見たくなったアニメ。 でも題名も覚えてない、内容もうっすらとしか覚えてなかった。 お姉ちゃんに必死に説明してやっと見つけ出したこのアニメ。 それからGOSICKを何回見たことか…… GOSICKこそ神アニメ。神アニメと言われているものの中に含まれないのが不思議。 当時は曲なんて全く興味なかったけど、中学に入ってからこの歌の良さに気づいた。

Just finished this anime, and oh my God this was amazing. The first anime to which I legitimately clapped when it ended. Victorique's life story is so bitter sweet, so at the end I couldn't be more happier for her. Her intelligence and quirky character CARRIED the entire show. Sure she is a selfish brat most of the time and, but when push comes to shove she doesn't fail to show how gentle and kind she can be, a statement I had doubts about throughout the whole show and to which I thought her mother gave too much credit to a daughter she only saw once. But when I saw Victorique help Brian walk, a man twice her size, embark on a ship and tending to his wounds for who knows how many days, and all of that after what revently transpired between them, I realized that her mother was right. I wouldn't have been the slightest surprised if she made someone else take care of Brian for her, given she hasn't done any physical labor in her life, but the fact that she went to such lengths for a single person, that made me change my opinion on her for the better, much better. Kujo isn't anything to write home about, honestly he's kinda bland, but I attribute this to him being a LN self insert main character. Which is a shame because he has potential, especially with him being the 3rd son of an imperial soldier. Every other character has more personality than he does, so I'm pretty sure he was made bland on purpose. One thing I wish they explained is why HE loves Victorique. Victorique is obvious, Kujo is the who showed her the outside world and thawed her icy heart, but I never got the opposite.

I think the maybe why Kujo falling in love with Victorique was the fact that they were always together and seeing each others sides of their personalities. Also the fact that he was only thinking about her and always trying unconsciously having her attention by doing so, in my opinion they didnt need to tell why most of boys could fall in love with a girl in general 😊 except for this part i do share your opinion 😋

Kujou in the anime is pretty bland, but not in the novels. He is prideful, naive, sometimes extremely dumb, sometimes quite useful. Overall he is way behind Victorique and Cordelia(who is my second favourite character in the show) but still has his moments.

@@kulkuljator Well, Kujo is the Watson/Hasting type of character. He is the assistant who help the detective and is used for the detective explain the resolution of the mystery. Obviously we have the romance genre that is a great plus, in not only a Buddy Detective classic story, and that make Gosick stand out along her partners in the genre like Conan Doyle, Christie, Ranpo or Yokomizo. And the little fantasy twist, in my opinion, along Hyouka and Un-Go, Gosick is one of the best detective anime/light novel/manga series.

This anime is also one of the anime's that got me insanely into gothic lolis. It's a real shame that anime nowadays doesn't have enough waifus like gothic lolis. Most of them are quite generic now.

Im sorry but I just read what you said, and your reasoning makes so little sense, Hyouka mystery... I mean I've seen Hyouka multiple times. but the mystery in that anime is so weak compared to Gosick. I like both animes equally, "Kujou or Victorique. There is nothing that makes them different or particularly memorable" If those characters are not memorable to you I doubt you ever actually watched the anime I'm sorry but it doesn't seem like it from the point of where you're writing. I mean I've read both the manga / light novel of both series, and I must say in terms of story and enjoyment Gosick is a clear winner, although Hyouka is definitely up there, The visuals of Hyouka is absolutely stunning, and the girl with the quirk using the word phrase kininarimas absolutely hilarious.

This little gem finally got licensed and dubbing. Hope that it will make more people aware of how good this little gem is. On a side note, this is a great opportunity to rewatch it. Such an underrated series, far better than most of the craps (including mystery anime) we have these days. So very recommend, I greatly enjoyed it from the beginning to the end, the mysteries are good, the characters are well developed, and Aoi Yuuki's performance as Victorique is phenomenal.

This is so peak, thanks again for the awesome cover! Your name has some really nice visuals and music and whenever I get recommended by covers and osts I get the surge of nostalgia. I remember this as my first anime when my highschool research group forced me to watch this movie to procrastinate on our project, that was my gateway to anime lmao, we then went to other romance anime and got addicted. Highly recommend, though almost all already know of the show, good stuff.

Finished watching it earlier and I'm totally in love with the series. I really wish they continue animating gosick red,blue,pink, and green. I really want to know what happened to them after leaving the old continent. I could read the novel but not much of it was translated. The popularity of the series died out so that's why translators didn't bother to continue translating the novel.
