Natalie: We haven't had the chance to "speak" to you until now. We're 75 and 74 and "transplanted" from TN to TX . The Covid mess has interfered with our lives to an unbelievable degree; we'd not found a Church yet. We stumbled upon your music program by accident and it has become our regular Sunday worship service. Until Churches in the Houston Megaplex can reopen, we have made your music our Worship Service with the addition of our Prayers and Bible reading. Our Son is the Music Director in an East Tennessee County High School. My Mom was a talented musician; but it skipped a generation with me. Keep up your wonderful Music Ministry! I just love these hymns. I also feel uncomfortable and irritable with modern crash bang music and often so loud. I have on numerous occasions had to go outside until worship was over. Now if some find fulfillment in that worship, good for them. I just gave up going to church and i miss it. I love the old hymns and some of the new songs as well but not when its repeated over and over again. So now i get my worship on KZbin and my sermons too from Max Luxado andca few others.

@@applemac100100 In general I agree. But music by itself is neither devilish or heavenly. One has to consider what is in the heart of those creating the music. And since we can't see into the heart of another, we have to look at the outward evidence. It will eventually always reveal what is in the heart if not immediately. All too often we see these "musicians" delusional by the idea that they can become a "star" of some sort and so they use the pulpit as a stage and a stepping stone to that goal. A Christian that has not fallen for their deceit can see right through it. And it is saddening that so many church leaders are blind and silent to it.
