I hit my knees one day, in the middle of my driveway, with tears in my eyes, and cried out to God about the suffering in the world, the corruption that took advantage of people, the lies and manipulations- why God do you allow this to happen? As I paused in my grief from my daily business, I heard, “Everyone gets to choose.” It was not what I expected, nor what I had hoped to hear. I have pondered it for years now. I understand. I got to choose how I live. I made some horrible choices along the way that hurt me as well as others. I also made the choice to change my ways… to repent of my self destructive lifestyle. He rescued me from myself. Even though I mocked Him and anyone who claimed belief in Him. He still saved me. What kind of King does this!? The conquering King of Love saves like that. He does not destroy His enemies, He rescues them. Thank you Jesus for making this possible. Thank you. Thank you.

Yes... all I get in this life are choices and time, and the time isn't even guaranteed. So all I get is choices, and those choices are only about me... I only get to control me, but that is enough! I am here to gain experience so I can learn how to make better choices, and eventually the goal is for me to learn how to choose my best way out of this path I have been placed on, and eventually choose, on behalf of my species, to never ever again do what we did right in the beginning. Every problem we have on this planet is about power... ppl who take power that isn't theirs, ppl who give away their power, and ppl who abuse the power they have. What Adam and Eve did was take power that wasn't theirs, and that is how they corrupted their own gene pool. When a child breaks a rule, you make them face the consequences and all the pain that entails, and you discuss with them what they did and where it lead them, so they can see the connection between the choice they made and the results it yielded for them. You don't rescue them from their pain or they will never see the full lesson, and they must or they will just keep making that same bad choice over and over again, and no-one wants that! So yes, we all get to choose, and the sooner we all realize why we're here in this mess, what this entire lesson is about, the sooner we can make better choices and end it all. We can never go back to what we were, but we can push forward thru this lesson as a species and finally get to a place where we can put this lesson and all its pain in the past, and get back on a path which once again has hope for a brighter future, everything else happening on this planet is a deserate distraction from this one goal, trying to stop you from reaching the end, so we must remain focused... this is why he calls it a race... and God's grace, love and strength is all we have to help us to do that Yes, thank you Jesus, thank you God ❤😊👍

@Zippitydoodah he sounds like God to me! He gave us free will, in the end, that is all we have, our free will. We are not puppets, we get to chose what we want for our lives, and if we want a life without God, that is exactly what we will get! But if we seek Him, we shall find Him, and He will show us the way.

I’ve had a demonic attack experience and what I learnt from that is that Satan will try and kill you the first opportunity he has and he absolutely fears the name Jesus and cowers at it. Jesus alone has the power. Do not think that you can control them. It’s his name that they fear and you must submit your authority to Christ to fend off any attack from them.

@@theguyver4934Jesus was a Pescatarian, and he's going to come back with God in the end times, not Muhammad, Allah saved Isa and not Muhammad, Abraham never travelled to Hijaz and the Kaaba was never mentioned in the bible. Although you and your Arab brethren are descendants of Ishmael, that much is true. Because Hagar and Ishmael had to migrate into the desert away from YHWH's household with Isaac, Sarah and Abraham. The birth of Isaac was a miracle and became Abraham's sole heir and established a covenant with Isaac and his descendants, whose bloodline ends up reaching Jesus, as promised by the sovereign God YHWH in the bible. Hence Jesus coming back with Allah and not Muhammad in the end times, it just proves that the Quran was the corrupted book to me. The bible explains it so clearly. God bless and safe journeys.

I just now came to this video. I've been following Dr. Heiser for a couple months, and as a lay person, l have come to realize so many of my suspicions about the supernatural world. I don't have a clue on reading Hebrew or Greek, but he has taught me so much. However, my son will not have anything to do with him. He went off on me when I shared Psalms 82. He said God was not talking about god's, he was talking about people. Which is a footnote in John. He always has a come back, so I just leave him alone and still love him. I only recon that it's not time for him to take this step of understanding. God bless y'all for your work.

the difference in those who read the Bible to master its wisdom and those who read the Bible out of a kinda search for who God is and who we are to Him. I see what Micheal is saying about misconception and predetermined interpretation of scripture rather than letting the scriptures speak to and read the reader. Its like my dad would say to me, " the Bible reads you" and the scriptures are alive and sustain the worshiper as bread is food to the body. also as scripture says" and they will all be taught of God" the Holy Spirit is the key that unlocks the scriptures.

You know something that i cannot stop thinking about? When God gave 'the woman' to Adam in the Garden of Eden, he married them right there (Genesis 2:25) and told them to go forth and multiply and fill the earth (Genesis 1:28). So, it is fairly safe to assume that they went and began doing that straight away! That means that they most likely had many children right there in the garden, and who knows how many and for how long tbh? Now after Adam and his wife both ate from the tree of knowledge of good and bad, and they forevermore mutated their own genetic code by doing so, they were kicked out so that they would have to begin the long process of dying becoz they were told they'd die if they ate of it and God had to keep his word (Genesis 2:17) so that was achieved by keeping them away from the tree of life (Genesis 3:22). So if that is how things happened, then they not only had to leave their home behind, they also left all their still genetically perfect children behind, becoz only Adam and his wife ate of the fruit, and no-one else is mentioned as being expelled but exclusively these 2, becoz only they were now mutated and imperfect, and if you leave corruption in with perfection, like 1 rotten apple, you will lose the entire crate. But how awful for them, to leave their beloved children behind, and what terrible pain to carry! No wonder flaming swords had to be placed at the entrance!!!! Now these children would probably have also continued to breed and multiply in the garden just as Adam and Eve's offspring did on the outside, right up until they had to be removed to somewhere else becoz Noah's flood put everything under permanent oceans from thereon in. This means that they continued to learn and grow alongside us and becoz they were still perfect, their progress would have been amazing, exactly what we were SUPPOSED to be, had we not done ourselves in first... 🙄 - talk about finding out that you have a twin brother, and that the only reason you never knew was coz it was YOU who was the evil twin that they tried to keep locked up and hidden away! 🤣 Now do we have any clues to support this conjecture? We most certainly do! In Genesis, God turns to the woman and tells her that as punishment, he would cause her to experience great pain during childbirth (Genesis 3:16). Now if she hadn't already given birth in the garden, that would mean nothing to her! What is childbirth? What are children? It would have been a meaningless threat, and that's just not God's style! Also, in John 10:16, Jesus tells us that he also had other sheep to visit that they were not of this fold, and there has been much speculation about who these were, but this could fit this too. Another one? Just after they were told that they were going to have to leave, it was only then that Adam renamed his wife "Eve" becoz she WAS the "mother of all living" - a gesture to remind everyone else present that she would always be their mum! ❤ She already had a name that identified her as coming from him, but now that this horribly momentous occassion was about to occur, he considered her identity as to her children and their place in her heart! And there are probably countless other clues in the bible to help support this as well that i haven't yet caught onto, so i'm still looking... So... he already had a entire batch of perfect children to work with, an entire whole section of the creation worked out perfectly! So why would he bother to even give the defective, broken part any more attention? Especially if it was so stupid that it did this thing to itself?!? Becoz his mercy and his love for ALL of his children is overwhelmingly eternal! And that salvation he has given us is our only way of finally getting to a place where we can once again move forward and leave this big mistake behind - we can never go back to what we were, but we can sure push forward thru the lesson, learn from it and put it in the past where it belongs! And his incredible love and compassion for our plight and suffering is his gift to us, if we want it ❤😊👍

@@leighatkins22 this was a wild ride. You've convinced me. 😂 I've never thought about that before but damn, the way you lay it out here is seriously compelling. Did you come up with all of this completely on your own or has anyone else ever talked about this? It makes so much sense once you say it that God wouldn't threaten A&E with something they couldn't appreciate as such, to understand the pain to come by being able to compare to the lack before. That's really dark, especially when you recall the age that generation was said to live to, (multiple 100's, I think?) And the amount of suffering had to feel increased in the context of remembering the past experience of perfection. Loved your use of emojis and humor and it was just a really well-written comment. And because the apple = knowledge, eating the apple = gaining self-awareness or self-knowledge, and A&E eating out of desire (too early) while lacking the understanding or wisdom to wield it (knowledge) properly, it results in the punishments of death and suffering? Damn. Deep.

@@crakhaed Well thanks man!!! 😊 i'm glad you understood it so well! And no, i've never heard anyone else mention this... some ppl were speculating about what "eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and bad" actually meant and someone suggested they had sex and were kicked out for it. So i re-read Genesis and realized that they were told to go forth and multiply the moment the woman was given to Adam, so they would have started straight away and that's when it hit me! Sex has consequences does it not!?!??! 🤣 And there are so many realizations i've had just like that 1, from reading Genesis very carefully and reading between the lines with God's spirit there revealing them for me, becoz Genesis covers a HUGE amount of history in such a short chapter... and reading Revelations answers alot of questions that arise ftom Genesis as well! I'm glad you liked the point i was making becoz i think our culture has been fed a narrative of 2 ppl in a neat clipped french garden which has only served to not only close our minds, but honestly, it sounds kinda boring, and i know it definitely wasn't!!! 😄😅

@Robert Vann, Micah 5:2, the Messiah born in Bethlehem is FROM EVERLASTING. What is everlasting? NO BEGINNING, NO END. Isaiah 9:6, the Messiah Jesus Christ will be called THE MIGHTY GOD & EVERLASTING FATHER. Jesus Christ says in John 14 “He that hath seen Me HATH SEEN THE FATHER also”. John 1:1-14, Jesus Christ, the Word, who existed with God from the beginning, AND IS GOD, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, AND THE WORD WAS GOD”, all things were created BY THE WORD, who BECAME FLESH, and He, the Word, Jesus Christ, was in the world, AND THE WORLD WAS CREATED BY HIM, JESUS CHRIST, THE WORD, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, the Jewws of Isr@el, and His own received Him not. I paraphrased those verses, but the scriptures say JESUS CHRIST IS THE CREATOR, who is from EVERLASTING, which means Jesus Christ IS NOT A CREATED BEING, He existed in another form because He had to BECOME FLESH, and John 4 says God is SPIRIT, WHO BECAME FLESH. Nobody can tell an unbeliever like you who Jesus Christ truly is, because Jesus says the Father must reveal who Jesus Christ is through the indwelling Holy Spirit, which you don’t have, because John 1 says all who deny Jesus Christ is God in the flesh IS ANTICHRIST, and therefore Romans 8:9 says you are none of Christ’s because you deny who Jesus Christ says He is. In John 8:58 Jesus Christ says He is the I AM of Exodus 3:14, and the Jewws picked up rocks to stone Jesus for CLAIMING THAT HE IS THE GOD OF ISRAEL. In Revelation 1:17-18 Jesus Christ says He is the First and the Last of Isaiah 44:6, and these are both names of Jehovah in the Old Testament, because JESUS CHRIST IS GOD INCARNATE. He forgave sins, He raised the dead, He healed the lame, and gave sight to the blind, which are all things ONLY GOD can do. What did the Jewws say? Only God can forgive sins. What did Pilate write above Jesus’ head in 3 languages? JESUS CHRIST THE NAZARENE KING OF THE JEWWS, which in Hebrew the 1st letter of each word spelled out YHWH, the Hebrew Tetragrammaton and THE ETERNAL NAME OF ALMIGHTY GOD, JEHOVAH, and Jehovah says in Zechariah 12:10 that it was HIM THEY CRUCIFIED! “They will look upon ME whom they have pierced”. Jesus Christ was crucified FOR SAYING HE IS THE GOD OF ISRAEL, THE I AM, THE FIRST AND THE LAST, YHWH MANIFEST IN THE FLESH!!! Why does God refer to Himself as ELOHIM, A PLURAL FORM OF THE WORD FOR GOD? “Let US make man in OUR image, and in OUR likeness”, Genesis 1:26, and “Let US go down and scatter the people and confuse their language”, Genesis 11. Because God is TRIUNE, Father, Word, and Holy Ghost in ONE LIVING GOD, just like we’re triune, body, soul, and spirit, in ONE PERSON. That’s why Jehovah, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are ALL called God in the scriptures, which is why Jesus Christ has every right to call Himself I AM & the First and the Last, because He’s the Word, part of the Godhead, “For there are THREE who bear witness in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and THESE THREE ARE ONE” 1 John 5:7. Why a triune Godhead in the one true living God? Because of Deuteronomy 19:5, by the testimony of 2 or 3 WITNESSES shall all things be established, and the Godhead is the THREE WHO BEAR WITNESS IN HEAVEN. Jesus Christ is the FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD bodily, Colossians 2:9. Jesus Christ is the VISIBLE IMAGE of the INVISIBLE GOD, Colossians 1:15, so that means JESUS CHRIST IS GOD MANIFEST VISIBLY IN THE FLESH!! And Jesus Christ says everyone who denies He is I AM will DIE IN THEIR SINS, John 8:24. In Daniel 3 when Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego called on their God, YHWH, Jehovah, to deliver them from the fiery furnace, who did Nebuchadnezzar see as the 4th man in the fiery furnace? THE SON OF GOD, because the Son is the exact image of the Father manifest in His visible form! It’s not a son as humans think of a son being a male child. Jehovah is invisible, and when He makes Himself visible it’s the Son of God, nobody has seen the Father at any time (because He’s invisible) but the Son has declared Him (because the Son is the visible image of the invisible Jehovah). That’s why Jesus Christ says He is God in terms that the Jewws would understand, calling Himself I AM, saying He is one with His Father, and that is why they tried to kill Jesus for SAYING HE IS GOD!! Jesus is going to ask each of us “Who do YOU say that I am?”, and you’d better say He is who HE SAYS HE IS, and He says HE IS THE VISIBLE JEHOVAH. Read Genesis 18, that man that appears to Abraham, and Abraham knew it was THE LORD!!! Jehovah appears to Abraham as a man, and immediately Abraham knows it’s Jehovah, because that’s an Old Testament appearance of Christ, called a Christophany. The Jewws knew Jesus was saying He is their God. Why don’t you? Especially when that’s exactly why Jesus was crucified, for blasphemy, for saying He is Almighty God.
@Redeemed.of.YHVH.thru.Christ

@Robert Vann, and you’re a liar against God, because God cannot lie, and therefore He will never contradict His written word, and He says it was HIM they crucified, and Jesus says He is I AM, and I AM WHO I AM is English translation of the Hebrew Tetragrammaton YHWH, the eternal name of God. When you start trying to make Jesus a lesser God than the Father, that’s PAGANISM. Nowhere in scripture does it say the Father BIRTHED Christ spiritually. It says Jesus is EVERLASTING, and ALWAYS EXISTED WITH THE FATHER AND HOLY SPIRIT. They are ONE. You can’t have one and not the other. They all existed as ONE GOD from everlasting to everlasting, period. You can’t make up stuff that’s not in the Bible, saying the Father gave birth to Jesus, when the scriptures say Jesus ALWAYS EXISTED!

@Robert Vann You have mistaken an insufficiency of semantics for an insoluble logic problem. You are wrong. Jesus pre-existed His INCARNATION. B'nai Elohim are sons of God created angels. Jesus always called Himself a Son of Man a TITLE. Also He is the Son of God a TITLE. Perhaps you also missed this: Genesis 3:15 and I put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He bruises your head, and you bruise His heel.” For all your cutesy funny faces you called all of us LIARS without sufficient reason. Look at that sentence carefully. Women have EGGS. Consistently in the Word SEED refers to sperm. Not only was Jesus the Messiah born of a virgin, there was something DRAMATICALLY different about His conception. MORE of His substance came from His Father Elohim than His mother Miriam (Mary) unlike any other birth ever. Adam and Eve were not "born" or "conceived" in the usual way either. And of course just because Jesus Yeshua came to earth human, fully human, did not mean He left any of His power, authority or infinite or any other part of His nature apart from Himself. Your "simple" explanation is inconsistent with scripture and dishonors God and His SON. Yeshua did not "come out" of His Father's Being, the part of this you are missing is THEY ARE and have always been ONE and the same. Because YOU and I are limited in time and cannot have existed prior to being born does not limit God Yahweh. I have a BODY a MIND (will and emotions) and a SPIRIT. So does God in whose image I am made. God is capable of doing unique events that happen only once. Of doing things we cannot fully comprehend. Pretending we have to limit God to what we can understand is not consistent with faith. I trust that God says what He means and MEANS what He says. I do not have to twist scripture or concepts from His Word to comfort my limited understanding. I try instead to mold my thinking to match the wonder and amazement of the full Word of God. By the way, my mother was a Troutt, that means I am fully accepted by her family. My father was a Smead. So I am fully accepted by his family. I do not have to pick one or consider myself half and half. Only people deep into DNA as somehow equal to full identity rather than limited blueprints for proteins believe that. People and their identity are more than a few genes. @@CRoadwarrior That's laughable. Believing you compared to believing Dr. Michael Heiser is like believing Bugs Bunny over believing a scholar with years of study. I saw your video and it's laughable. And although this man is not Catholic, he's credible compared to you. I only believe what a Catholic priest who knows demons says about demons. I know several exorcists. I've heard them speak about demons. They would highly disagree with you. So unless you have personally encountered demons and have exorcized demons out of people, do not speak about demons. @@1Hope4All Now that's actually REALLY laughable. I know both Hebrew and Greek and learned both at the graduate level. I actually taught myself NT Greek BEFORE entering seminary, something most don't do, and had that knowledge tested and verified by an accredited university in New York. So comparing me to "Bugs Bunny" is more than a joke, and shows you don't do your own credible research to even know what you're talking about. I have my own scholarship and do not depend on the Dr. Heisers of the world, who regularly fool uneducated and ignorant people because too many people blindly trust what they say. So he is NOT more credible than me simply because you think so in ignorance, or because you think that just because he has a doctorate and I don't yet, that this somehow gives him more credibility. Logically speaking, that is a non sequitur fallacy and bad reasoning. I have personally had encounters with demons. But even if I had not, I have what GOD has to say about them in the Bible and their relationship to us and the world, and therefore my understanding is solid, credible and stands regardless of your ignorant claims. It’s such a great loss for us that he was called home recently, but it has been wonderful to see so many interviews with him and videos of his own showing up all over my y2 feed. Fortunately, his teachings are still with us in his books, videos, interviews and podcasts that we and future generations can continue to benefit from his deep insight into the spiritual world that is documented in our Bible and other related texts from the ancient world. I look forward to checking out some of the other videos on your channel. Keep up the good work!

@@matthewmaynard5460 If Russia stays soveign and they don't advance forward then it doesn't give the NATO to advance into Russia. They do want to draw us into a war with the false flag or such. It should be a peace settlement. The ultimate end game is to destabilize the middle east especially around Israel namely. We don't want an issue there. The Russians have provided the opposite of war and that would be more in human needs. That doesn't mean the US people aren't kind. It means the military and govt officials entrenched are wanting the wars. When you look at Russia don't be surprised at this hell because I believe he means this but the ultimate result of a centralized power is it goes back to governing and one person will either get corrupt or more and more out of tune with the local economies. I feel in the US we can what is more like a spiritual economy which is one unit of production can produce one or more. Vs one wante to reduce labor cost- goods get cheaper at expense of a person's job. It's still free market but that's theory. The reason I bring it up is because the world doesn't have to be this way and we aren't really to know the future of humanity. Christ must be shown now as if Christ has returned because in my heart he is here in the Holy Spirit. Finally, if we understand we have passed a stage and now have moved toward a chance of brotherly and sisterly love-which will start we can continue on. My understanding of the end times was it wasn't something I should predict but something more important is to treat my work for GOD without knowing when is the end. I started to dig into revelation and there is no end of time but there is not a return of Christ in the body but in the realm that is behind the material. Christ's kingdom must start with us because we are the Church. There speaks of two struggles 1 in the old Testament and one in the end with Sorath. I believe we have contained in a way the first battle. In the old testament Gabriel said he was being held back and finally was able to bring the message. He was coming from a future battle but that isn't Sorath. For that to happen every man and woman must have all the chances to come to Christ. Until the world has been fully evangelized then it isn't that final battle. There is the exorcism of principalities over governments but you will know if it is the individual's battle and it will not be pretty. If you have to know something then the meeting of a demon was like the air in the room became dark even with sunlight. You should not be afraid but instead you should have a heart of determination and bravery and indignation. You must see this demon and know the name and expell. One thing I learned is that I should cast it and into a chamber and not back out into the world. It is called the , I'll have to look up the word. My stance is very rare but maybe it's only exorcist who can see this part. If you were to face one then it would start with obsessing over something, it manifest into something in your body vs outside, very rarely is there possession but then the person must want it. So we are in a war of attribution. You have to fight as if there is no end and if you can say yes to that and continue to maintain faith in Christ then we are with you. If it discourages you that we won't have a straight obvious victory then I encourage you that the victory has been decisive when Christ resurrected. Jesus Christ conquered by sacrificed on Golgatha.

In regards to Russia in providing needs I meant it in regards to the players in the middle east. If a nation is in position to stabilize an area who are at war it would be the one who has been providing stability. Russia had done that. We are in an era in which war is going to be fought in the non material and war that is fought with physical weapons would be dying by the sword. This is the evolution of war because Satan will go after us with temptation. No one has ever been tempted by being forced. Therefore you'll see it won't be in any kind of oppression. Saying that, it doesn't mean people won't die. Instead, humans will bring in each other's destruction and this evil one will want to be the solution. Russia isn't going to be the problem as they have done things we see as a new axis of evil but well I will leave that to find out. One thing I know is He will work through any one of us. I find myself hating the evil that is I am honest I have the capacity as well. That allows me humility because I can't say I am more holy than any person who hasnt the same situation. That is the common characteristic of an exorcist at least the Catholic one and that is a mystical element, a psychic or Clairvoyance (consciousness of another being and it's intents and abilities vs your own) a knowledge of GODs word, a fearless and serving characteristic. An absolute opposition to what is vile. That last sentence is more personal when you see your own demon as you see in the outside and how I came to understand it must be contained and a part of us redeemed.

When I was growing up, sitting in church every Sunday, for as long as I can remember, I always viewed what I was hearing from the pulpit with suspicion. I always felt like there was something that I wasn’t being told, something that was being hidden from me, and that I wasn’t getting the full or correct story of the Bible. I think the main reason for that was because my world was blown at church camp one summer when I was about eight years old, when an event occurred that caused me to lose all faith in authority or “experts.” My parents and other adults had always taught me that there were no such things as monsters. But that reassuring truth I was taught was completely destroyed when I encountered a Sasquatch in the woods at church camp in California in the late 1960s. From that point on, every supposed expert was viewed by me with skepticism, and that holds true even today. But I hold Dr. Heiser in great esteem because he has broached the secrets of the Bible that no one else has either wanted to broach or had the brainpower to broach. Yet, with regard to Levitical laws having to do with blood, semen, etc., I still think Dr. Heiser is missing the mark a little. Since we know that the enemies of God hate humanity because we are created in God’s image, with his literal, divine DNA, we know that their ultimate goal is to destroy humanity and completely expunge the human race from Earth. The way they’ve been trying to do that all along is by corrupting the human genome, which contains the divine DNA of God The Most High. It’s the reason the Watchers mated with human women to create races of giants. It’s the reason, as the book of Enoch says, that Watchers were mixing species on Earth, creating hybrid monsters, of which I believe Sasquatch is one. It’s also the reason for the Great Flood, which was an attempt to remove all of the corrupted species from Earth, but which I believe ultimately failed. But the point is, by corrupting the DNA of humans, the Enemy could prevent the birth of the Messiah, whose blood (think DNA) was perfect and divine. Since that failed, the Enemy’s only recourse is to continue its goal of destroying humanity by destroying our God-given DNA. The reason blood, semen, disease, dead bodies, unclean (carnivorous) animals, etc., are mentioned and warned against all through the Bible is because those substances/creatures contain DNA. Especially blood and semen, which contain the most concentrated and highest-quality DNA. People have no clue how easy it is for your own DNA to be changed by coming in contact with the natural world. The saying is, when you have sex with someone, you’re also having sex with everyone they had sex with. Why do you think that is? Is it just a clever saying? Why does the Bible say that a man and woman who marry become one flesh and that this is a mystery? It’s because of DNA! Coming into contact with blood, semen, disease, wounds, even the foods we eat, changes our DNA! The modern field of study called Epigenetics confirms this. It states that correcting bad diet and bad behavior can heal a damaged gene within 3 to 4 generations. Isn’t it interesting that the Bible says, the sins of the fathers are visited upon the children to the third and fourth generation! The book of Leviticus, and other portions of the Torah, are God’s attempt to heal and protect his DNA within the human race. I very much suspect that the reason God chose Abram to be the progenitor of God’s people, is because Abram had the purest DNA of anyone on Earth at that time. It’s not just that “the life is in the blood,” it’s that divine DNA, the Creator’s blueprint for life itself, is in the blood! You wanna be closer to God, literally? Start living your life the way God instructs us in the Torah, and your DNA will become “cleaner,” less corrupt, with less disease, and then you’ll pass on cleaner DNA to your children.

I agree to some extent of what you believe because the DNA stuff is something g I also have thought about, but remember Jesuschrist has completed the torah, fulfilled the law and also chekc this : Romans 14:14 14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. The torah law was to set apart Israel from the other pagan nations, also all of it was a shadow of what was going to come (Yeshua Hamashiach) collosians 2:17 and hebrews 10:1 But it is truth that the seed of the woman will be fighting against the seed of the serpent until the 2nd coming, but Christ already crushed Its head, and we Just need to continue fighting until Jesus comes back... But yeah, the enemy seems to be trying to do the same he did on noahs days, it is even possible that demonic creatures were create by them, but the blood of Jesus is more powerful and thanks to him we have power over this things thanks to God!

Im a saved Christian but I still fight my demons and familiar spirits. "My monsters are real, and they're trained how to kill" - Shinedown I am truly blessed, and truly cursed and I sit in the middle of a kind of heaven and hell. I've physically experienced so much spiritual interface that I hardly ever tell people. My wife doesn't even know all of it. I've been touched by the holy spirit many times, in overwhelming joy (visual miracles and audible miracles as well), but I have also been physically attacked by demons on a few occasions, among many other kinds of encounters. It is to a point that I no longer fear them. I wear the armor of Christ and I can walk through the darkness knowing that I am the strongest one there. Ever been haunted and simply scoff at their effort? I have. Be prepared for a backlash though. I say these things to strengthen your resolve. I don't want attention either way. There are amazing uses for faith + prayer, but they both must be used together with your whole heart. Don't fight demons alone. They are innumerable and never sleep. They will kill you if given the leverage. Christians are not immune, and it's not just a "lost soul" problem. Your greed, depression, anxiety, anger spikes, doubt, selfishness, lack-of-self-worth, and cynicism, are all leverages of familiar spirits to damage you over time, to suppress your true inner strength, and they search for your most destructive potentials to spiral you out of the equation. Anyway, rambling, sorry. Take care brothers and sisters in Christ, Truly.

Lords of Spirits and Naked Bible podcasts are great for anyone trying to learn what the scriptures meant in their time and what the traditions and worldview of the ancients actually were like and what it means. Heiser and De Young also both give you the linguistic side from the Greek and Hebrew respectively. Orthodox belief is that evil spirits are the disembodied dead nephilim but the principalities and powers etc that rebelled also get called demons by all sides so I think it’s a semantic issue mostly among lay people. But the tradition is that evil spirits are not fallen angels but the result of fallen angels, a perversion of reality.

I love Dr. Heiser. As a Protestant, he was my first solid exposure into divine council theology, what he calls "the Deuteronomy 32 worldview," which I had already begun to formulate for myself in close Bible study, but his work independently validated it and then enriched it greatly, both broadening and deepening it. I only wish he would bathe for a while in Eastern Orthodox church fathers. He would be surprised, I think, to discover that divine council theology was and remains a central feature in Eastern Orthodox theology. His understanding of the church fathers and church theology is-regrettably but understandably-very Western and filtered through especially post-Great Schism and Protestant Western church lenses. I think his understanding of what the Church traditionally has taught would grow broader and deeper if he drank in especially the Eastern fathers for a time. I'm confident that he would notice how nothing much has changed from then through the present in Eastern Orthodox theology, and that it is greatly in line with what he himself has recovered, despite it having been almost entirely lost in the Western traditions.

Unfortunately Dr. Heiser (RIP) was interpreting the OT isolated from the NT. While this is fine for studying the textual history and religious context of the OT, it should never be done so as to inform our theology. They ARE the same being (Satan) even if the original OT authors didn't completely understand that. That's exactly why St John makes that point in Revelation. The NT fully reveals the OT.

Thousands of years ago the ancient Israelites with the lord's help fought hand to hand against the huge gaints, these tribes of gaints were created by the fallen angels having relations with human woman, today with the lord's help we fight against the spirits of these gaints. The fallen angels have been locked up in 7 mountains of magnificent stones far the east of the world until judgement day. These mountains are in my backyard in New Zealand, If you are a holy spirit filled Christian, and you have questions about the bible or the apocrypha, or you don't understand something, ask the lord to reveal what you want to know, the holy spirit is the great revealer of all things. Fast, pray and ask for him reveal the truth in the holy bible you want to know. And he will show you one way or another.

No such thing as angels mating with women. Bible states, Angels neither marry nor given in marriage. The extremely giant people were the ancient Philistines, Goliath was bout 9 ft 3, that’s being giant, this is a lie and not true. Good goo.y, such ignorance out there, listen to Jim Brown Truth and Grace ministries on utube, at least you can learn some truth from him. We got a bunch of stupid preachers these days, teaching a easy Jesus, teaching “accept Christ” that’s another lie, we cannot a Sovereign God, God calls us, God accepts us, and we are the demons, our flesh, this is demonstrated by the phase Paul the apostle said, greater is he who is in me than he who is without, our flesh is without. Evilness is sure enough true, God made both evil and good. God hates evilness, since he is in charge, he, Jehovah God, can do anything he wants, he made the vessels, some he has ordained for destruction, some he predestined for life everlasting, demons are peoples ancestors and their pagan gods. The devil and his angels live locked in Tartarus, until judgement, they are not floating around here, we are the demons, our flesh, demon is the word daimonions in Greek, daimonions gave out fortunes to themselves or someone else,,,, we do have a lot of lying fake preachers who cannot define one word of the Bible, they cannot tell you the mistranslation in the NT, they know knowing.

@@Earth2Flo-v6f The fact that fallen angels married human women and had children with them is in the Bible. The scripture about people not marrying and being as the angels in Heaven, is just that, in Heaven, where flesh and blood cannot go. The fallen angels left their first estate and took on flesh form (which all angels can do, and is shown in scriptures elsewhere). There are scriptures about the Nephilim being so big the Israelites were like grasshoppers in comparison. And look up the measurements of King Og's bed.

Heiser’s Hermeneutic The root cause of the issue with Heiser’s theology is his interpretation method, which errs on multiple levels. First, he interprets Scripture in light of pagan literature to interject polytheism into the Bible. As Peter Jones suggested of Gnosticism, “Whenever ‘Christian’ theology looks to pagan polytheism for inspiration-as it is doing now and as it did then-it discovers a titillating variety of reading techniques, without which the Scriptures of the one, true God would be strictly unusable.”2) Indeed, this hermeneutic method reigns supreme in Heiser’s writings. One critic of Heiser has similarly commented, “Heiser has a bad hermeneutical methodology because he has a bad hermeneutic philosophy. This bad philosophy has led him to bad conclusions. There have always been Christians who have tried to come up with some unique and revolutionary interpretations. Heiser is not the first to come up with this notion of a council of gods. You can see this in Gnosticism, and Marcionism, and in other adaptations of basic Christian doctrines. I’m sure he won’t be the last.”3) Heiser responded to Howe’s criticism, stating, “I assume that the Scripture writers were communicating to people intentionally - people that lived in their day and who shared their same worldview. This assumption is in place because I’m sensitive to imposing a foreign worldview on the writers.”4) In other words, he admits his hermeneutics is focused on imposing the pagan worldview on the Biblical authors, even though the Bible itself commanded the Israelites to not enquire into the theology of their pagan neighbors (Deuteronomy 12:29-32), and to destroy any Israelite guilty of doing so (Deuteronomy 13:6-18). One simple example of this is Heiser’s discussion of pagan deities were known to inhabit gardens and mountains which he formulates an entire theology revolving around this concept imported on the Bible.5) However, the Bible condemns this pagan practice as idolatry on “high places” (Leviticus 26:30; Numbers 22:41; 33:52; Deuteronomy 12:2; 33:29; 1 Kings 3:2; 12:31-32; 13:32-33; 15:14; 22:43; 2 Kings 12:3; 14:4; 15:4, 33; 16:4; 17:11, 32; 21:3; 23:5; Psalm 78:58; Jeremiah 7:31; 19:5; 32:25; 48:35) and “groves” (Exodus 34:13; Deuteronomy 7:5; 12:3; Judges 3:7; 1 Kings 14:15; 18:19; 2 Kings 18:4; 23:14; Isaiah 17:8; 27:9) with idols under “every green tree” (Deuteronomy 12:2; 1 Kings 14:23; 2 Kings 16:4; 17:10; Isaiah 57:5; Jeremiah 2:20; 3:6, 13: Ezekiel 6:13). God rebukes this idolatry that Heiser thinks is valid biblical theology, “your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills” (Isaiah 65:7). Where is the logic of building a “biblical theology” by imposing pagan practices which are specifically condemned in the Bible? One of his foolish arguments for allegorizing his mountain opinion is presented in his citing of Psalm 48:1-2, stating, “As anyone who has been to Jerusalem knows, Mount Zion isn’t much of a mountain. It certainly isn’t located in the geographical north-its actually in the southern part of the country.”6) Mount Zion is on the north of the city Zion, also called Jerusalem (2 Chronicles 5:2; Psalm 135:21; 147:12; Isaiah 10:32; 30:19). He contends, “This description would be a familiar one to Israel’s pagan neighbors, particularly at Ugarit. Its actually out of their literature.”7) Another problem with Heiser’s hermeneutic is he focuses on ambiguous text, plays fast and loose with the Hebrew language whenever he can, and when he cannot twist an interpretation of the existing grammar to fit his presupposition, he becomes the textual critic and changes the text itself or uses a different text to justify his position. Other Christian apologists have complained about Heiser’s handling of the text

_"Sometimes the Bible means when it says.”_ Is a reference to Dr. Heiser's work on Divine Council theology, as well as Genesis 6. The former introduces ideas superficially incompatible with monotheism, thus are found to be unpalatable to many (?) of Jewish faith. The latter reveals the idea of Nephilim, "men of renown," human giants who were the offspring of copulation between fallen angels and the "daughters of men." As perhaps one may appreciate, much effortful twisting and turning in order to reinterpret this message has occurred over the years by those uncomfortable with this line of thought. Yet both ideas are right there, in the plain text of scripture. So, yes, sometimes the Bible means what it says. Speaking less tongue-in-cheek, the Bible _always_ means what it says.

The problem I have is when people make these silly linguistic problems. The idea that Hebrew is the original language causes a problem. If you go back to the languages that influenced Hebrew such as different Sumerian texts, you come to find out that the two different terms that were used to explain The Serpent and the Satin are actually literally the same word, but interpreted differently. So, we come to find out because this word has multiple meanings, someone just interpret it differently when translated into Hebrew. Because the term also meant serpent, some people interpreted it as serpent within the story of Genesis. It's easy to conflate words when they're literally the same word, but with multiple meanings. So in Hebrew it was written down as serpent. In one section and as a title in another. But, it was still technically the same word, originally... So, the fact that there were two different words used in Hebrew doesn't necessarily mean that we're talking about two different people, as it were. 🤷‍♂️ language. It can be a pain. But, this amounts to an appeal to ignorance fallacy. Us not knowing the actual intent of the original storytellers, means that we actually just don't know. What it doesn't mean is that we know it was two different people, or that we know it's only about one person, etc etc.

@@Ariela-ApostolicA238 (Akkadian) Babylonian and Assyrian Assyrian and Babylonian are members of the Semitic language family, like Arabic and Hebrew. Because Babylonian and Assyrian are so similar - at least in writing - they are often regarded as varieties of a single language, today known as Akkadian. Akkadian was the Semitic language that was spoken in ancient Mesopotamia (Akkad, Assyria, Isin, Larsa and Babylonia) from the third millennium BC until its gradual replacement by Akkadian-influenced Old Aramaic among Mesopotamians by the 8th century BC. When you look at the alphabets and the meanings of the words, along with different translations, you start to discover words that are in the Bible and their meanings that some passages may actually have held. Such as the Akkadian word for serpent being the same word used for a (demon) opposer to god. But, that very same word sometimes being used one way, and then in another text, translated the other way. And then you can see over the years the different derivations that they've taken, based upon literally being the same word, but being interpreted in two different ways (sometimes being believed to describe a literal animal, to other times effectively referring to the name of a fallen Angel).

Heiser asks the question 1:04:30 why some reject and why some accept. I’ll give you 2 of 19 New Testament gospel sets of scriptures that factually answers that question! All that the Father ‘gives’ Christ will come to him. John 1:12,13, 6:37, 44,65, 10:28-30, 15:16, 15:19, 17:2, 17:6-7, 17:9, 17:12 John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. John 10:28-30 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are One. John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. John 17:6-7 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. Acts 2:39, 2:47, 13:48, 15:17 esv 16:14, 18:10 Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. Acts 15:17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. Acts 16:14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. Acts 18:10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

The Church Tradition does not only mean writings and exegesis to combat certain dogmas of those times, it mostly comprises in feelings, spiritual experiences and supernatural experience/communion with God. If it wasn’t for these Apostolic Fathers maybe we would have never come to know or understand certain aspects of the Christian creed( Holy Trinity, deep prayer, Jesus’s humanly and godly nature). These people lived a very dedicated and spiritual elevated life, in the same way the prophets of the Old Testament did , so why would we not believe they received revelations and performed miracles..and if they did as I am sure they did, then why would we not rely on their theology? Every supernatural event or depiction in the Bible has been written down by people who had revelations or highly spiritual perception due to their dedication to God and the Bible cannot and will never contain all the inexplicable, or cannot give full explanation of God or Satan or the way the spiritual realm works, we only have glimpses of the reality..the rest of it comes through prayer, dedication, sacrifice and pure Faith. So this is why I chose to trust in what the Apostolic Fathers believed as they surely got spiritually closer to God and they could understand the Scripture better then any academic of our times!

I used to be an atheist, I started having what I would consider poltergeist experiences when I was homeless and squatting at a friends, I started trying to provoke it to get more exposure because I was excited that there was now the possibility of another side. As a kid I used to watch and read anything I could on UFOs and Ghosts and so these poltergeist experiences brought all of those memories to the surface. I started seeing strange things like colored vaporous light, orbs, shapes, etc. Thats when I started trying to understand what was happening on a deeper level and started flirting with gnostic teachings and practices. Eventually i went on to practice what I now consider to be sorcery, and I was inviting these "higher selves" and other interdimensional beings to enter my body. I thought we were all God and that I was just going through the "ascension" process. Needless to say it got pretty messed up in the last couple of weeks of me doing those things and it took the name of Jesus Christ to make it stop. I've believed in Him and trusted in him ever since. I think Dr Heiser has sound interpretation but one thing that confuses me is this nephilim stuff. The entitites I saw were so clear, almost like holograms, and they each looked like a completely different creature. Two looked like animals, one sort of seemed like a cartoonish pig reptile, the other was something i can barely describe because it looked like a komodo dragon head with cascading scales, and then the third entity looked like a "grey" alien, but they looked holographic, they were eminating a golden and violet light, and I just knew they were demons....but they also seemed like they were "gods" or elohims. They didn't seem to be a disembodied soul of a hybrid nephilim, and another thing about that is spirits cant have sex with people, they are non corporeal beings. But perhaps they showed people in the past how to mess with DNA and they corrupted the image that way, just like what's happening today.

Read every book of Dr. Heiser's , have learned so much from him. Mostly as a reformed Catholic Christian.... that there was/is so much that i was ignorant of. I thought I was pretty Bible savvy, but now I realize I have a long way to go to break old thoughts and reform my understanding based upon how the writers of the Bible would have been orientated back then.... This Dr. Heiser really exposed for me and did so. One thing I wish was that all the books he references were not so $$$$$$$$$$!!!! Many of the books I would like to read, but they are crazy expensive, often hundreds of dollars. This is tragic, they have so much value, but are so unavailable to the average reader.

Wow.. Read your ‘About’ statement & saw you are from Frederick, MD. I moved to Middletown, MD before 3rd grade from Rockville (when it was still overwhelmingly farm land) (& prior, lived in several areas as my dad was in the Navy & then Army). I ended up moving to KS when my husband was relocated for work. I was not a genuine Christian (though I’d likely say I was at the time) but enrolled my kids in religious education classes as I had been. They were short on teachers and asked if I’d assist, I agreed. W/in 2 months the main teachers had a medical emergency & I was asked to teach the curriculum. That began my journey. While teaching all that kept coming to mind was “do not lead one of My children astray”. So I taught the curriculum but would research church history, read the support for each lesson, what evidence was there for said teaching, prior to every class. This, amongst several other graces God poured upon me, opening my eyes & humbling my mind, led me to finally take responsibility for my faith & God’s command to know Him, and led me firmly into the Catholic Church after about 2 1/2 years (I struggled w/ my tainted understanding of the Pope, the longest, which now seems silly as scripture shows the prefigure of the Seat of Peter, w/ the Seat of Moses, and is overwhelmingly filled w/ this physical structure of the Church throughout scripture).

As humans we do not grow, evolve and become more then we were unless we are WILLING to learn. Many say “Thank GOD for the good times”. But they fail to see that it’s thru hardship,we Hen you struggle, have to fight (mentally or or physically) for your life, when your challenged that is the real blessing. Because it teaches us how much more we can stand, how much stronger, how capable we are. And it gives you a choice: you can choose to let what you went through be the paint that paints you into the corner and limits your world. OR You can analyze it and CHOOSE to grow, to learn, and to apply it to help others, then you grow. What he talks about is the very same.. He didn’t take the easy road because it never leads to growth or interesting things to learn, see, experience and he CHOSE to grow by this. And he CHOSE to do the wise thing and teach other to think outside the box.

There have been many youtube ministries that started well, only to fall into sin and pride as the channel grows. Inevitably, gaining viewers starts to take precedence over speaking truth. Often, they will justify this by pointing to the increased viewership. I could name some, who’s quality and faithfulness have dropped way down, but I won’t. Don’t let that happen to you Austin.

What does Dr. Heiser think about the Holy Spirit faithfully leading the Church through the challenging theological issues up and down the ages? The scripture authors were human AND were guided in their (infallible) writings. I would also add that scripture does contain (mostly implicitly) commentaries on the (fallen) angels. Full transparency, I did not watch the whole video due to time constraint. I do respect all the work Dr. Heiser has put into his studies, but as he expresses early in the video, we all go into study with bias, whether Augustine or Dr. Heiser or ME! This is where we have to remove ourselves and trust the Holy Spirit - specifically on those challenging Church teachings that have salvific ramifications. I trust the Holy Spirit has not abandoned the Church. ALWAYS appreciate Austin! A great listener and a free heart!

Hmm... and what about “This kind cometh not out but by prayer and fasting”, when the Disciples failed to cast out a demon? Having someone who is dedicated and holy to aid you when your own faith is low, or you are far from God, is a blessing. We don’t always need an exorcist, but thankfully being a Christian is not about being alone, it is about being a part of a body. We can strengthen each-others weaknesses. But I agree that if a believer keeps themself holy and stays their mind on God they will never have to fear any demonic attack, then they can be an exorcist for others.

I was interested in what he had to say, so for that reason I'm glad you asked the pointed questions and allowed him to speak. I must say I disagree with him on points, but won't turn this comment into a dissertation, so I'll just leave it at that here. He is correct on the point that the world, through universities and personal interactions, tries to break down the Faith of Christians. The purpose for that is to get people to shift their positions and fall into the cracks. In other words, destroy Christian Faith. I have personal experience with that, and was an easier target as a young woman than I am now. I thank God that my daughter didn't fall for any of that stuff. I don't know if it was anything I did or if it was purely the grace of God, but certainly God has His hand on her. One of the things that restored me was realizing they were lying. They hadn't even read the Bible, or they read bits and pieces and quoted them out of context. One favorite for them is, "The Bible doesn't say _______," or, "Nowhere in the Bible will you find _______." If you hear that nowadays it's easy to do a web search, but 40 years ago when I was hearing it, it seemed to come from authoritative voices, and the only way I could check it was to read the entire Bible to look for what they said it doesn't say .... Not exactly a 5 minute web search 😆

I used to think theres not much to reading the bible and its boring since I was taught most of the "important" stories when I was younger, there wasnt much too wonder about, but I now realise there is so much to it and so many things to be able to have personal opinions about. :) I always thought the world "supernatural" was a sinful word that shouldnt be talked about, but now I see its a large part of the history in the bible. Thank you so much.

I just want to add a comment about Job, something I have learned along the journey. In the end, Job was raised to a new position of experiencing God. He went from hearing about God to an experiential knowing. If you want a greater revelation of God in your life, an experiential knowing instead of just hearing about Him, there is a time of trial that will prove your honest intent. God used hasatan to bring Job to and through to a new place. You can compare it to the wilderness journey for Israel. It is a birthing process, a time of constriction and effort and even pain in order to bring forth a new state of being. Hasatan is incapable of tricking God, but God is more than capable of tricking every hasatan into serving God's plan and purpose.

I am 47 and consider myself christian. Yet nowhere have I found a church, group or denomination where I truly feel at home. I am somewhere in the middle of orthodox, catholic, gnostic, esoteric, quantum scientific and protestant. The theology that my inner voice of heart have felt deepest appeal to is Valentinus teachings. But I feel truth, beauty and goodness in all of the above - and also partiality. Now I wonder, if anyone reading this would know, if there is a church that would be a 'match' for me. I long for a more concrete faith family and not just being a lone seeker/finder.

I’m unclear as to what Dr. Heiser’s difficulty is re spiritual beings. Scripture indicates there are many with various functions. They have a hierarchy. Some are more powerful/influential than others. They basically fall into two groups: those that do God’s will and those that oppose it. Any exorcist knows these basics.

He is a Fundamentalist Protestant Christian. " if it ain't written in the Bible, then it ain't true." His own, individual Protestant mindset is a mindset like a tower of Jenga blocks: pull one block out and the whole Tower Falls. The block that I pull out on these guy's mindset is the book of Acts. Our Lord Jesus Christ Never Verbalized Anything about circumcision of the foreskin of the penis being a necessary sign 4 conversion to Christianity. So the church in the book of Acts which is the same church that exist today known as the Catholic Church, made a decision about circumcision even though our Lord Jesus Christ said nothing about it. If this PhD truly as a doctor and a reverend Christian, then he would know that the Gospels are more important than the Old Testament because they are the words of God incarnate who is himself truth incarnate and the physical fulfillment of everything prophesied about the coming of the Messiah in the Old Testament. The Old Testament exist in the Christian Bible for one reason: to glorify the work of the heavenly father culminating in the birth of his only begotten son our Lord Jesus Christ. He is The second person of the holy trinity, the Spotless lamb who takes away the sins of the world by dying for our sins on the cross, who on the third day rose again from the dead, and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the father. After the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, The Advocate came down from heaven and lighted like tongues of fire upon the heads of the Apostles and the holy Virgin Mary in the upper room. The Old Testament and the New Testament exist together to show the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This PhD who doesn't believe anything written outside the Bible, has not yet admitted to the fact that people possessed by demons existed alongside the Pharisees and the Sadducees inside the temples of God. Scripture tells us of our Lord Jesus Christ visiting Jewish synagogues to preach and standing there with the townsfolk and the Jewish priests are Possessed People. Standing right there inside the temple with everybody else! "We Know Who You Are! You're the Holy One of Israel!" And Jesus turned to the demon inside the possessed person while he was trying to preach to other people and said, "Silent!" This doctor, this Ph.D, is a completely willingly deceived. He's too concerned with being new instead of being right. He's too concerned with FEELING New instead of being right. *If the Jewish understanding of demons was so much more faithful and true to the truth of God, when compared to the Catholic understanding of demons simply because the Jewish idea of demons was older than the existence of our Lord Jesus Christ, then why did the Pharisees and the Sadducees walk around breathing in and out with other people possessed by demons walking around and breathing in and out inside the synagogue, Inside of The House of God?* The Answer: God chooses to reveal truth. His truth was not fully revealed until the birth of his only begotten son our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus Christ is God's truth revealed. This is the chief reason why the Pharisees and Sadducees wanted to kill him. Jesus was truly able to cast out demons - Something They Could Never Do.

@@matthewvelazquez2013 Am I wrong in thinking that the act of god of Old Testament, deciding to come as himself in Jesus Christ, a human form of God himself, upon the earth for a lifetime. He would be crucified at the end of it, and struggle through the same temptations that we as human beings face daily. In other words he would live a life as a human being in order to understand how we suffer. There by rising again into heaven, as God the father, now having experienced the dimension of our physical world, and all of its suffering that he has a new found perspective on his children of the earth. He has now a vastly greater empathy towards our plight, which gives way to the more understanding and patient God of the New Testament, as opposed to the the Old Testaments wrathful and less forgiving nature? Isn’t this the true meaning of the crucifixion? If so, I’ve always wondered why I’ve never heard it put like that. It’s alot easier to understand it that way, than it is hearing it how it’s presented 99% of the time. Or am I wrong in thinking that way?
