I've listened to this song so many times and I get the trembles every time. I think back to when Jesus called Lazarus from the grave, he cried, because Lazarus was already home. But even so, i firmly believe that when Jesus called him, he came running out and nearly knocked Jesus over. How would you feel if Jesus called you? I believe that when the Master calls me, i hope no one is standing in my way because they'll get ran over. What a glorious and wondeful day that will be.

What I love is that this resurrection is just an example of what God will do for all believers. Paul says in 1 Thess 4 that the dead in Christ will rise first then we who are alive will be caught up and together we will be with the Lord. That means my sweet Mama who died 10 yrs ago and I will be together some day. This is the great eternal hope of the believer in Jesus.

It's just so sad that Kenny turned his back on God, and walked away from singing with his brother and dad. This is what happens when you let sin creep in, and I can't help but wonder by him doing that how many souls were lost because they didn't hear them singing or how many who were saved, but turned away because he fell. In the end it's each person's choice to follow God or not, but I wonder how many that missed out all because Kenny gave into sin.

If there is one thing about this song that I would have done differently, is that I would have had the band and orchestra hold out the ending longer. They cut it too short, and I would have had them crash it out, instead of choking it out without a final hit.
