The goat of paintball is Ryan. Ollie is a living legend and for marcello, " the most clutch player " is an understatement. Love it

Following certain pros for the whole season sounds epic and can definitely bring some new “non paintball” paintball stories to the forefront. I think one of the most underused pieces of paintball being used to highlight our sport is the refs, and having a traveling documentary about some of the refs would be epic too. You don’t have to be in the top 1% of pro paintball athletes to create these lasting friendships and bonds while traveling the world. There’s an avenue thru reffing that’s a lot more attainable than being a pro athlete if you want to travel and experience the lifelong relationships you find in paintball. Until we have huge payouts that we can focus the media attention on, the viable return from paintball is the stories and travels you get over the years and I’m sure refs have some of the craziest stories.

What I'd like to see are better gameday broadcasts. Currently, all we see are live matches and a constant loop of ads between games. What's missing are analysts, replays, interviews, fan zone walkthroughs, etc. These things help put together a complete package and mainstream sports have had it all for ages. Paintball can, too, but we just need it to happen. Having a paywall never helps growth, but money is the elephant in the room, so maybe that's still needed.

It’s great to see @GelBlasters involvement in and sponsorship of tournament paintball. That’s said, significant opportunity exists to establish a clear growth path from gel blasting toys to tournament paintball. Intentionally attracting and grooming young gel players could yield a whole new generation of future paintball players and/or fans.

Really interesting discussion and it's very cool to see this out in the open instead of just behind a closed door. I hope creators are paying attention.

One thing that wasnt touched on is the financing. Competitive paintball is outrageously expensive and limits the amount of players and new fans to stay in the competitive format. Paint/travel and all that goes into it especially for the lack of payout at divisional levels is a real problem

I get what Matty is saying about how this narrative content has been done before but those were in the days where the content was not widely accessible. With how social media is today, I don’t think we can compare the reach of well produced narrative videos of the early 2000’s to what could be possible today.

Having the same business model as paper view boxing has killed paintball Every vet will tell you about the early 2000's Remember when paintball was mainstream Thanks to content hoarding from go sports are sport is almost dead.... Unfortunately pros don't understand business because they would be the first to be protesting because of all the money they missed out on.... Boomers please understand how content works Why does Ronnie dizon videos have more views and comments than pro game videos.... Answer that one for me😂😂😂

@@MajorLeaguePaintball this isn't sustainable and your going to kill our sport. You control professional games content. This doesn't get out to the public only a very small group. Our sport is dying because of this. Please change your business model
