Even my husband, his file was held I'm Dar es Salaam for 7 months no answers and they don't respond to enquiries. I had to contact my local MP in Canada....within 2 weeks they had finalized the file. Mukulu Kakande kankuwabukemu katono nti some Ugandans test positive for TB because they got the BCG vaccination in childhood. Even at work here when they do the mandatory PPD test in healthcare, they test positive. So chest X-ray is the best bet for that. I wonder how and why the embassy doesn’t know that.

Hahaha 😂 mukulu, I personally kakande I went to Nursing school but I don’t practice nursing.. The BCG taken in Ug during childhood doesn’t affect the blood 🩸 it only affects the skin , thatz why when you do ppd tests the 72 hrs results comes back positive. However when they do X rays it test negative, that one we know. Therefore the IOM uses blood and X-ray not skin test ( ppd ) to test Tb yo heath care should stop using ppd. And do X-ray or blood directly. Remember am Dv winner and i have been at IOM , with over 20 family members going through the same Dv . Yo analysis is correct on ppd test but wrong on how IOM operates . And it’s not the reason why people are found positive. Ok 👌

Farouk I have a problem my brother was denied a visa . In his name then he changed his real name and got a nother passport and applied again but they say his fingerprint in the system that he applied in other names before . Any idea or advice
