In a TV special that aired March 11, 2018 on Fox called "O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession?" the disgraced former NFL star described a "hypothetical" account of what "allegedly" happened the night of June 12, 1994 before the bloody bodies of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were discovered.

Because he got away with it and he basically cant be tried for it again. He’s only saying hypothetically because if he admits to it straight, he’d be probably be socially outcast. Although, most people already believe he did it, a lot of people go by what the trial said.

They did a great job of playing a narcissist at their game. Seriously excellent psychological ploy. Play them by their own issue. It’s almost reverse narcissism coming from those who set this up, only they are not narcissists but fully understand narcissism enough to have the devil dance himself to full exposure. It’s brilliant.

I realize his children are adults now, but can you imagine living with that maniac? I’d be afraid to do anything but toe the line, because Daddy might stab me to death in a rage. Kids think about those things. I would have demanded to live with my mother’s family and only have supervised visits with my father. They were old enough that the judge may have listened to them. If you want to read a hair-raiser of a story, check out Mel Ignatow. He lived in my hometown. Back in 1988 he kidnapped his girlfriend Brenda Sue Schaefer, was holding her at the home of a former girlfriend, Mary Ann Shore. He tied her up, raped and sodomized her, and took pictures of the whole thing. That devil was charged with first-degree murder with all circumstantial evidence. After he was acquitted they found all the pictures hidden under the floor in his former home. But, of course, he couldn’t be tried again. A local newspaper columnist, Bob Hill, wrote a book about the crime and the trial entitled “Double Jeopardy.”

LOL Exactly .. how telling .. not too many people caught that one . The ones who still believe he is innocent seriously need to give their heads a shake and think about your comment and other similar nuances here . This is pure Gold if you have a brain and any common sense about human nature and behaviour . There is Nothing normal about this guy . He is 100 % guilty . Normal balanced emphathetic men , who have violently lost their past spouse and Mother of their children so horrifically do not act like this , laughing at the thought of slitting her throat so deeply it nearly decapitated her . Only deep rooted psychos profit off the ghastly thought of making a mockery and circus of her death. Who would stoop so low but to choose to participate in such a manipulated and horrific concoction of of an event such as this . Its like dancing on the victims graves . If you suffered such a tramatic event of losing someone so violently like this and then you were wrongfully accused of it -you would want to just move on far away from the memories of all of this . perhaps you may come back many years later to talk more about the pain of the whole situation ,,You would want to close the book so to speak . Not write one to glorify and saturate in the gory details of the murders like this . This is one narcicist nasty Mo fo who is so obsessed with his own opportunistic celebrity he will profit off this in such a classless way . He has lost his own capacity to even resemble a real human being .

I just examined him. He lies every time he "tells the truth". Example, when he mentioned "I think so" he shook his head back and forth, and did a weird smirk, the same smirk he does when he admits he's lying. Also he is very confident, and full of ego. Something murderers have. Not to say that all this means that anybody who does this proves they're lying.. but OJ has way too much evidence ontop of more evidence to just call "innocent" by any means. Also just watched 10 more seconds, he just did a lot of stuff that I know killers and evil people do. Yeah, he's lying out of his ass, laughing, KNOWING he will not face any legal trouble despite him lying to the camera's face knowing the whole world can do nothing but watch.

@chiraq yes double jeopardy. Cant be tried for the same crime twice. He was sued in civil court and lost that case and the Goldman family was basically awarded a ridiculous sum of money that Simpson didn’t have so what he did was he started selling off his memorabilia and signing a shit ton of stuff. then he ended up robbing someone at gun point with some other idiots who owned some of the purchased memorabilia and OJ ended up serving like 12 years for the crime of armed robbery. Bottom line is justice was served only on a financial basis. OJ is still currently in debt to the Goldman’s.

Charlie is OJ. It’s his way of describing the violent, jealous and crazed maniac that would finally go through with murdering Nicole. Charlie was telling him “stuff was going on at Nicole’s” - that’s the jealous part of him that wanted to keep tabs on her & if he couldn’t have her, nobody could. OJ conversely is the smiling, handsome public persona that everyone saw before that night. Charlie came to visit several times during the domestic assaults but OJ always took back over before permanent damages could be done. That night, seeing Ron come by triggered Charlie aka OJ’s rage to the point where the OJ part of him couldn’t take back over before it went too far. That’s also why I believe that he blacked out during the actual murders themselves. He’s convinced himself that he, OJ, couldn’t possibly have done such a thing. Had to be “Charlie” who again is just the dark part of OJ’s persona.

@@platoon1081 Yup, he was flat broke by that time. He was acquitted from the criminal charges but everyone turned his back on him after that, either because they knew he did it or because he was broke, or both. And there was a civil trial looming, which he knew he would lose (burden of proof is much less AND he had no more money to pay for fancy lawyers). His house was foreclosed, he had no friends left, he signed so much stuff his signature was worth about $5, and so on. So he decided to write a book confessing how he did it, but adding the if to 'if I did it', in a desperate attempt to make some money. When the Goldmans acquired the rights and royalties to his confessional book it wasn't a huge victory but it was at least a victory as there was little else to take from him. After that, Simpson became so desperate for money he went along with the armed robbery of some memorabilia which eventually landed him in jail for many years, after all.

Many variables came into play for OJ to get off... 1) this was only 2 years after the Rodney King beating that was recorded, the acquittal of every white police officer, then the LA riots that followed. 2) the mostly black jury was blinded by the acquittal of the white officers in the Rodney King trial, as well as OJs celebrity status and charisma. 3) I don't think it helped that prosecution that a white female attorney (Marcia Clark) was leading the charge. 4) Mark Fuhrmans racist past.
