Westlife is really successful at wowing huge following of audiences in Asia particularly in The Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea and Japan. Those markets are really bigger compare to the 300+ million in the USA.

Yup. They needed to take a break from one another so that they could pursue individual interests. Additionally, their popularity had been plummeting over the years, and they were getting sick of not getting enough creative control, as well as being marketed as ballad singers. Thirdly, they were arguing and fighting with one another more and more often in their later years and the relationship between them was on the verge of becoming toxic. Had they not broken up, they would’ve ended up landing each other in hospital, or at least one of them would’ve ended up in rehab or something.
