The new overall Band 6 requirement is announced for SDS by IRCC applicable from 10th August 2023. But the colleges have not lowered their score requirement(which they might do in future). Colleges still need overall 6.5 and 6 in each module. But if you want to apply with lesser score, you can only get an offer letter from a private college as of now. Therefore, as per current scenario, to get an offer letter from a public college, you need to take IELTS again.
