When you port forward to the additional nodes you still have to set the external port. 80 for TCP 443 for UDP. You can't use that twice for different internal ports so how does that work?

is it normal to have 30% imported new chain segment and 70% no peers found and the occasional synchronization error come up? the ETCPOW is climbing slowly just wondering if it needs troubleshooting to optimize the most ETCPOW farmed.

i checked router setting and was enabled but windows wasnt syncing time so ran a fix on it synced the time and restarted the node just incase should be fine now.

What power strip do you recommend for these? The power plugs I have for my ETCMC nodes are very bulky and take up a lot of space (covers 2 or 3 outlets) when I plug it in.

Great video! But you should have mentioned that the claiming will take upto 5 days or even more. This is quite new for the most people, as we are used to smart contracts ... also, maybe it will deter people from spamming the support tickets concerning their rewards, cuz i can image it may clog up the teams workday - and thus we all have longer to wait.

Claiming takes 48-72 hours if it takes longer means your claim has been flagged and you have to open a ticket

Thank you fedor! Etcmc is still very early, so it might be that claiming was short, now is longer and might become shorter/longer in the near future. The overall support and how they handle this project is superb in my opinion so I don't mind if I need to wait a little bit as of now. But I agree with that most people are used to handling smart contracts and that it is a big contrast between that and claiming the etcpow rewards. I myself also get a lot of questions around that topic at the moment

No 72 to 48 hrs because it actually takes 48hrs but when many user take many claims or at the end of the months when rewards are paid out it can take 72 hours.

You do not need a computer for the plug and play node. The node itself is a computer. You simply need a monitor, keyboard and mouse to start the program.

Hi, no we can not run multiple on the same device. If we run multiple nodes/licences on one device we will get banned and can't use any of our nodes

If you just get 1 node you can simply plugin it in and it will run. You do need to start the program manually yourself by activating the program. And if there is a power failure you need to restart it manually

Good morning, Is it possible to have several miners who mine fry at home? Because I saw on the site that there is one miner per location.

There is difference between the different miners. I believe the satellite miners are max 5 per location. The weather miners I believe you need to spread out as well. Just 1 bandwidth miner per ip adress. Otherwise I don't think there are any restrictions for the rest of them

What happens if you put all nodes on the same port

I have seen some put several nodes on the same port and it works for them. I have however also seen a lot of people having nodes on the same port struggle with each other and spending much more time looking for peers and therefore earning less. I tried it myself with having multiple nodes on the same port and saw that they struggled. After putting each node on each port they are not struggling any more for me. I can't 100% confirm this is accurate but it worked for me.

Don't need a pc to run a node. A node is a mini-computer and runs itself. All you need for a node is a monitor, keyboard and a mouse that you can temporarily connect to start the program. Then you can simply unplug the monitor, keyboard, mouse and just let the node run.

Hi Nordic when you have multiple nodes and does it to have one license per machine. If you have 5 machines to mine then you will need 5 licenses. This is assuming you are using your own machine not the one bought from the company since they all sold out.

Hi! Since ETCMC is growing and so does it users, the price of ETCPOW will be in the hands of supply & demand. So if we see more people buying etcpow for making nodes we will see an increasing price but also the opposite. So it all depends. ETCMC is also making sure the longevity of the etcpow price is kept reasonable. So we have seen earning reductions and might so more in the future

When I got my second node, no one said anything about changing the port, is that required? Both nodes registered with the same name and ETC address. Both nodes setup to use 30303.

For a lot of people it works to run several nodes on the same port. It did not for me so I put each node on a seperate port

actually in my case is easier since geth will setup automatically on my router (not sure how my router automatically adjust), so just need the step 5.. haha edit it with --port "303xx" fill xx with your desired port..

Yes it seems the devices often sort them selves out for quite a lot of routers. I don't know if it will end up causing them extra time to sync the next time if their IP have not been set static and require to "be found and adjusted for again". Perhaps not really an issue? Me, and I believe a lot others, are simply too impatient to be guessing and not sure if the nodes is optimized, so I personally felt to hit my node with the max amount of settings to make it sync as good & fast as possible. Could very well though be unnecessary.

Once you see the logs in the etcmc launcher saying "indexed transactions" or "un-indexed transactions" or if your ETCPOW numbers simply goes up. Then your miner is securing the ETC chain

Because that happens to me as well. When I ran several nodes on the same port I thought i saw 10-15 lanes of "looking for peer" and then only 1-3 real index lanes before going back to 10-15 lanes of looking for peer. And it kept looking like that until I put each node on a separate port

The LP pool on hebeswap is just like any other lp pool but with extra etcpow incentive. The farming from it brings additional rewards currently in etcpow. Be aware of impermanent loss
