Doesn’t break the bank and it has more hits than people actually think. Like those downtowns mainly in blasters. Go for some krazy ass money. I’ve never pulled one myself cuz I don’t have the luck like some of these dudes have lol I’ve prolly spent over $5k in cards over the years and prolly got half my money pack if I’m lucky. I have some good cards but I haven’t checked how much they are now in days lol 😂 I’m just still surprised how rookie cards go for more money than legends these days. Specially rookies who haven’t played a game yet lol 😂but it’s all good. For collectors like me I’m glad legend autos go for cheap these days lol

I opened my first pack of cards ever in Jan of this year. It was a two pack blister box of 2022 Topps series 1 that was next to the register at Big Lots. I pulled a Joey Votto Homefield Advantage. I had no idea it was a decent pull until a few months later, when I was fully immersed into the hobby and started learning what was what.

Today's card are not the same as they were back in 70' and 80's we just bought cards what we got we were happy but today people are just looking for that one card and to me that's not a collector

Exactly. When we were kids we’d buy to collect a set or to get a fav player. Now kids and adults get addicted to chasing a specific card and that’s just another form of gambling. You’d have to open thousands of boxes to pull some of these 1/5 or 1/1’s. For me the hobby is ruined because cards got expensive.

Got 2 hobby boxes from mlb yesterday! No autos in either but both had HFA cards both were rookies Pete Crow Armstrong and Jasson Dominguez! Had some other great stuff too! Definitely best luck I've had in series 2!

People don't want to give a deal because they know you're just going to turn around on eBay and make a profit off of it. You know before the resellers invaded eBay used to be a place where you could just go and get a good deal. That's all most of us want still is just a good deal. We don't want to be overcharged.

I got a Wander Franco home field advantage rookie last year from some packs i bought from a gas station. Figured i would hold onto it for a bit and see if he had a good season this year and it maybe would go up in value. Did not work out well. F*cking pedo. Only other decent pull i had was a Yogi Berra paragons of the post season numbered /75 (black variant iirc), kinda cool but probably still ain't worth much.
