I love my Skill 77. Use it every cabinet job to take down the ply to bite size pieces.

Rooster Nattress I'm excited to use mine for the same reason. I shake my head every time I see someone on youtube cutting up full plywood sheets on a Tablesaw.

Over the years I have a dozen or so Skill Model 77s, the best. I too cannot get use to saws with the blade on the right. I have a little Skill 5-1/2" saw with a left hand blade, they no longer make it, darn.

That 5 1/2" would have been the perfect size for a track saw to cut ply.

Michael Olson That's what I use it for. But I can't justify the expense of a track saw, I use the home made version made of 3/8" plywood. It cuts a straight as a track saw and cost nothing.

Very cool. Btw, I just finished a pine workbench that looks similar to yours. Wondering how you finished yours?

It's a workbench. the only finish on it is overspray and smeared glue. it lives in a garage where the temp/humidity is always changing and it has been fine.

I've (only) got the Craftsman branded Skillsaw. It's a beast. I'd like to pick up a lighter one as well.
