I have been called a beached whale a few times in my life. When I was younger I was really hurt that my friends thought of me that way. Now I do not care what people think. I'm 6'3" and weigh around 300lbs. I have struggled with my weight since high school. I am also an only child.

I only lock mine when I store it. I would never recommend locking it on your hair. Also, small tip, get a heat protectant spray, I like Sebastian Trillant. Your fine, colored hair needs the protection 😘

One trick for the waver (not a hair dresser but something I’ve learned) flip it over so the wave starts away from the head and adds volume and leave the ends out for more of a “natural” wavy effect. Love your videos Cilla and I love your ladies relationship! ❤️

You two are the cutest! If every new/young adult had such a great environment around them with that type of support so many would not stumble as much along the way. Even for those of us who are kind of introverted, just having the unconditional presence of chosen family makes all the difference in the world. Just a word of advice on the waver... let it sit longer at the crown and roots than the ends. The ends take the heat better because of the natural oils of the scalp. If “wave” the top while brushing it back it will fall perfectly. I am the queen of wavers. I have the old bedhead one - from YEARS ago- and this one looks like twenty steps forward. I love the shape of this one better.

Loved this video,, I have always been a big girl and people sure like to point it out as if you don't know,,I remember a conversation I had with my grandfather and he told me that no matter what you do someone will always try and bring you down. Remember those words they speak more about them than you. Don't let anyone steal your joy and besides.. "those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter." happy people do not try and bring others down. Yes, Summer I do that too. When I curl my hair, I don’t comb, brush, or pick it till I’m all done with my whole head, giving curls time to cool....then I style it.
