Hey man question. I’ve been doing pretty good at bouge inlet lately in Emerald Isle but it’s gonna rain on and off the next two days. Will this affect the Spanish and blues ?

It does depending on how the water, wind, and pressure changes up. If you find the water is still pretty clean and bait and cannon ball jellyfish are still around the spanish amd blues will still be there.

Where are you fishing SC or NC and what pier is that your on , I've used Got-cha plugs many years ago but haven't used them since i just forgot about them i guess I'll have to break them out again, with all the new plugs that have come out you forget about the oldies another oldie is the crocodile spoon or the deadly dick, next time I'm shore fishing, thanks

Why do people stand back and jerk, you have to bend over the rail and jerk the plug.

Few different retrieve patterns. That way allows the plug to stay near the bottom which the spanish were feeding better near at that time.
